Have you noticed how Trumpeteers have started parsing Trump’s statements, aka Clinton.
You prefer those that just cave and do it Obama’s way. Nice. We already have plenty of those types in government. Man up.
Can any of the pro-Trump camp speak to why Trump would do this? I’ve been pretty critical of Trump on some threads, and perhaps more even-handed in others, but this is just an honest question.
What does Trump have to gain from this when he’s clearly trying to win the Evangelical vote in a tight race? Is there some logic here I can’t see?
Why knock Huckabee? He is exposing Cruz for the fraud that he is. You should be sending him a donation.

He did stay for free, which is all you need to know. When ole Vandy wanted much more from Trump for an endorsement Trump told him to take a hike. That’s how I read it.
Vander Plaats told the Register: “Trump’s friendship and ‘generosity’ definitely comes with strings.”
Early on when Trump was considering running for president in 2016, he courted Vander Plaats, who is considered influential with Christian conservatives in Iowa and commands the attention of the national political press.
“He invited my wife Darla and me to come to New York and he made sure we stayed with him and he’d be offended if we stayed with anyone with him. And he refused payment,” Vander Plaats said. “The problem is, it didn’t buy my endorsement. He can make a donation to Hillary Clinton and she will show up at his wedding. ... They all do what he tells them what to do and the fact is it hasn’t worked with me.”
On Twitter, Trump followed up by tweeting Vander Plaats “begged me to do an event while asking organizers for $100,000 for himself — a bad guy!”
VanderPlaats replied “@realDonaldTrump you know that’s not true. I gave you an introduction and opportunity and you charged the guy $100K. May work in NY not IA.”

Only a fool would make such a uninformed; stupid accusation.
Many are being fooled with Trumps lies and believe Trump is a conservative. He isn’t.
All you have to do is read Trumps words; but you won’t.
Very similar to the way that Obama bamboozled the gullible.
Either that or you just don’t care about conservative ideas.
I did take notice to the story about Vander Plaats selling his endorsement to Santorum.
I bought his book and perused his web site (as well as Cruz's) so you're wrong again.
So it seems Trump is a “total liar.”

How it is spun is of no proof. He accepted a freebie. It could just as well be that Vandy wanted more. After all, Cruz ain’t no saint. Besides, Trump has a host of better endorsements than Cruz.
Never heard of him. Frankly, I make up my own mind without caring what others say. I am very capable of researching candidates.

What’s the common items? Van der platt and money he received or wanted to receive.
Any chance Trump is bluntly exposing things currently because God has chosen to use an unlikely person like him to do it at this time in our world? Just as God did so often in the bible and all the years since. God loves using unlikely people to do great things for His purposes - and some times they don’t even know they are being used by God. Like Obama showed us so much, God allowed him to be put in that position. Many in USA have woken up because of it. It’s all about God, not any person.

Lesson here is: Don’t try to buy Trump. You don’t have anything he can’t earn on his own and he won’t sell out like “Once Surging Ted.”

Have you noticed how Trump treats those who disrupt his rallies? He says they are “probably nice people ...”, he does not sound vindictive to those who do not worship him.
