Former president Jimmy Carter on Wednesday will make a rare address to the upper chamber of the British Parliament to draw attention to the eradication of the Guinea worm disease, according to the Associated Press.

Oh great another malaise speech. Eradication of the Guinea worm? I think the Brits and a good many other of their fellow Europeans are thinking of the eradication of something entirely different, and it ain’t no worm.
Carter has definitely had an important impact in eradicating this disease. Last year there were only 22 cases. It once affected millions. It’s a real accomplishment.
I though Parliament voted to ban him from entering Great Britain.
I thought Jim-muh limited his foreign travels to Third World Countries so he could lord over them and tell them how to vote right!
