Raise your hands. LOL! No, I don't want your wallet. Are you a "seasoned" ccw holder? Just remind some ersatz punk that you didn't get to be your age by accident.

Part of my “growing older” was to switch back from my 9mm Browning Hi-Power to my .357 Dan Wesson revolver. Carry is easier. Getting it out and on target is faster for me and there are absolutely no mechanical safeties to get in the way.
If you invite me to the party, you better be willing to dance.

I've had rotator cuff repair surgery to both shoulders. I can't hold a handgun at arms length.
I could probably shoot you in the foot though.

I use that explanation (sometimes .. "by being stupid") ... ALL the time
When I was around 14 or 15, I had a part time job at a rehab center for the elderly Jews ...
I learned very quickly that THESE people were special (around 1963/64/65) .. not too long out'a WW2 and they had wisdom and insight MY white ass had NEVER considered
It was there I heard for the first time and fell in love with Yiddish
Ain't NUTHIN" funnier than a Jew tellin' a joke in Yiddish !

Growing too slow to run away and too brittle to survive a beating has forced some major changes in what I can realistically carry and shoot effectively.

Hope they mention disparity of force, and how that works for elderly’folks, disabled folks, smaller folks, folks that are ambushed, or outnumbered. Legally allows’greater use of force under those attack conditions.

Just bought Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 380 semi-auto with laser. Its small and compact for carrying. Going to range tomorrow with hubby to get comfortable with shooting. Will take CWP class in couple of weeks. New to shooting. Going to take a while to get comfortable. I am in mid-50’s sooo we shall see.

Don't be ridiculous. Not ONE DANG THING has changed since I've entered my golden years (where's the dang gold, sonny?) - why, I knocked over a target at 500 yards last autumn using iron sights. My lying instructor claimed it was a fly resting on the front sight and he just flew away. Well, I got him, anyways. I may not be able to see as well as I used to but if I turn up the hearing aids I can git me a sound shot like nobody's business.
I can still assume a prone position pretty well, too. It's the getting up again part that's getting tougher. And I can't reload my Smith as fast as I used to because my arms aren't long enough anymore. But old? Heck no, it's just a state of mind.
Dang whippersnappers.

At age 84 I still carry a Browning Hi-Power. Just wish I could get a laser for it.
