White House spokesman Josh Earnest said today that "based on what we know" it does not look like Hillary Clinton will be indicted. Earnest made the remarks the White House podium.
A reporter asked, "Can you say with certainty and confidence that Secretary Clinton will not be indicted because of this email scandal
"That will be a decision made by the Department of Justice and prosecutors over there," said Earnest. "What I know that some officials over there have said is that she is not a target of the investigation. So that does not seem to be the direction that it's trending.
But I'm certainly not going to weigh in on a decision or in that process in any way. That is a decision to be made solely by independent prosecutors but again, based on what we know from the Department of Justice, it does not seem to be headed in that direction."

He said all of this while not weighing in. I mean he is right, she will never be indicted but that says absolutely nothing about her criminality.

Catherine Herridge reported today that elements in the FBI and DoJ were very upset with those statements because Earnest has no line into either agency to know one way or the other. She also said Ubama didn't either when he made similar statements.

Well, anyway, whatever. Maybe information will be leaked to the foreign press, even if nothing happens here, I don’t imagine she will be well regarded anywhere else in the world.

If she loses Iowa on Monday ...
