That’s exactly how I saw it too. A tiny flub in the beginning, from which Cruz quickly recovered, and then he kicked major butt for the rest of the debate.

How about the many polls today that say Trump easily won a debate he never went to? Now when you can win by not even showing up, why go? Well Trump had something more important. Trump raised $6 million for Vets and 22 organizations are getting the money.

Yeah, he won’t run-away from the fight like a petulant little 4th-grader like TRUMP (PRAISE BE TO HIS NAME!)

Can Cruz handle raising $6M better than Trump?

Oh yeah, he can just ask his Goldman Sachs wife for another “loan”....

I really like the way Trump repeats himself three or four times in the same sentence. Keeps him from attempting to say anything of substance. That habit, by the way, is consistent with someone who is developing Alzheimer's. His old man had it too, didn't he???

He could have buckled under the pressure. He didn't.

His dad said that both he and his wife were concerned about Ted going to the liberal bastion of Princeton and he told his dad not to worry, that would be able to handle it. And he did.

Cruz offers substantive on-the-spot answers to a wide variety of gotcha questions, whereas Trump robotically rants about unfairness at his questioners.

That proves it.

Projection is a requirement to be a supporter of TRUMP (PRAISE BE TO HIS NAME!)

Not at all. Trump came off looking like a knave and a coward, and Cruz was put in the front runner spot, where he deserves to be (which will of couse be validated when he wipes the floor with Donald and his hairpiece on Monday).

How about the many polls today that say Trump easily won a debate he never went to?

One might question the veracity/reliability of those online polls.

That’s the problem with you Cruz lovers. He says things articulately but doesn’t do an dang thing. Trump might not be the best speaker but has completed a ton of things he set out to do. I know you are used to leaders like Obama who is a pretty good speaker so it doesn’t surprise you want to continue that with Cruz. I could care less if Trump can talk well or not. What I want is someone who finally gets things done and not just talk about them.
