Why not just impeach and remove this outlaw Enemy in Chief. Then we don’t have to find out.

Widespread civil disobedience to the edicts and fiats of the Current Occupant would have the effect of nullifying the worst of the encroachments on the legal limitations to anybody occupying the Oval Office.

Civil disobedience and even open disrespect were hounding Richard Nixon in his last few months.

Well we don’t have the votes for that. It would take a year to do that anyway. I think Congress should just take the year off and not do a thing. It wouldn’t really change what they do now anyway. Let Obama do the EO’s and the next President can rip them up. We will make it through the next 12 months unless God takes all of us. Otherwise we will continue to chug along.

Goodness knows we will at least be in a precarious situation for the next 357 days (or so) for sure.
The man has absolutely nothing-to-lose, despises America, despises Americans, and is sitting at the helm of it all.

That is a brilliant examination of the historical cause and effect relationships of appeasement versus real or imagined aggression!

One thing I will say is that there are a number of people in the Republican primary race who would be perceived as aggressors of the Reagan/”cowboy” variety. Trump would scare the hell out of our enemies, as would Cruz. Likewise, I don’t see Rubio or Christy backing down to the challenges we’re likely to face, but I’m not so sure about Kasich, Bush, Paul or even Carson.

Unfortunately, Obama is only a symptom of America's sickness.

Can America withstand mindless democratic voters who elected him is the real question.

If the Dems were smart, they would. That would make “Uncle Joe” pres and as a sitting president he could run uncontested eliminating Hitlery.

I like to see Dr Carson as Secretary of Health and Human Services and hope whoever from our side becomes president will chose him.

Unfortunately, Obama is only a symptom of America’s sickness.
Can America withstand mindless democratic voters who elected him is the real question.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

Translated into English from an article appearing in the Czech Republic as published in the Prager Zeitung of 28 April 2010

Civil disobedience, which here is a DUTY to withstand tyranny, should be hounding Obama EVERY day. The true outlaw is Obama and the feds.

So whom would Hansen want as the next Pres?

He’s got some excellent points about Obama and appeasement, and socialism, but he’s never seemed to be that conservative to me. I wouldn’t have seen him, say, as a Cruz supporter.

If Putin goes into, say, Estonia, does anybody think Obama would say that's a red line and invoke Article 5 of the NATO charter?

Wouldn't Estonia be the one to invoke the NATO charter? They're the ones being invaded. And if they did, never mind the U.S. Would Germany or Italy or Spain be willing to act even if we were?

I agree. I really like the guy a lot, but his demeanor and expertise are much more suited to the role of HHS Secretary or Surgeon General.

I don't know if he would qualify as Surgeon General, since they are all from Military and he never was in the military

The current Surgeon General is Vice Admiral Vivek H. Murthy

From Wikipedia Source

Responsibilities

The Surgeon General reports to the Assistant Secretary for Health (ASH), who may be a four-star admiral in the United States Public Health Service, Commissioned Corps (PHSCC), and who serves as the principal adviser to the Secretary of Health and Human Services on public health and scientific issues.
