That’s a lie.
Trump wouldn’t attend, because he was being set up by FOX News, Google and the RNC. They were bringing a group of 3 women from the internet, who were there for only one purpose to tear Trump apart. One was a Muslim, one was a Mexican, and one was a Feminist. This was to perpetuate the “war on women” theme.
Because of that PLAN to attack Trump was why he said, NO. And .. if I recall correctly .. I already gave you that information .. so you have no excuse to be peddling this lie about Trump.
There is no law that says you have to sit by and allow the DemocRATS to rip you apart on TV for 2 hours.
Some people just want to be LIV. Facts get in their way.
Trump was smart to sit out this debate. For any hits he got he'll respond tomorrow on Twitter.
But more than that, Rubio and Fox hurt Cruz. He's bleeding right now and I'm betting he wishes Trump was at the debate to take heat off him. And, short of that, I'm betting he wishes he too had sat it out.
That video montage Kelly showed (and they probably had a different one for Trump but couldn't use it), followed by Rubio's passionate, rapid fire accusations had Cruz on his heels.
It was unfair as hell and that's why Trump was not there.
Rubio up 3 points, Cruz down 4.
Paul up 3.
Surprisingly, and thankfully it does not matter, but Bush up 3.
All from the undecideds except for Cruz's loss.
Cruz got the lowest grade out of all of them from one his friendly reporters Shapiro. Ouch.
I just saw the clip of him at the end when everyone avoided talking to him. He corned Jeb. lol.

I think you’re right. One of those videos was heavily edited. Fox pivoted away from their planned Trump hit, IMO.
Cruz, who put forth an amendment to the immigration reform bill Rubio helped author in 2013, insists that it was designed as a "poison pill" to kill the bill, though at the time Cruz indicated he wanted the overall measure to pass.He admits to lying. So was he lying then or is he lying now.
Now, the next time, if there ever is a next time, no one will know if his intent is genuine or if he's lying once again.
Levin’s take was Trump was scared of embarrassing himself before the caucus night. Trump’s LIEberalism has been leaking out this week through his Twitter fits and statements. Had to do something to keep his phony poll numbers from cratering.

It’s over. Logic and wisdom outrank your emotional appeal. The big MO (as in momentum) is at Trump’s back. Look beyond Iowa for a moment. Polling indicates he’s decisively leading in NH, SC and on and on. When the Caucus results are in, Sen. Cruz will have some thinking to do about continuing to burn through money to make up those gaps between his numbers and Trump’s.
Polls capture a moment in time, and never precisely.
Again, not a single vote has been cast. Once they are, we’ll have actual data. The voters could well change teh whole equation. And if and when they do, I will look forward to your dismissal of actual voters.
At this point four years ago, Gingrich and Paul led in Iowa. Santorum won the state, and Romney came in second.
Santorum had been running a poor fourth, at best — lower in some polls.
So you can cram the phone lines and the Internet polls, like the Paulies did four years ago. Am I supposed to be impressed?
Trump didn’t show because he is a crybaby who didn’t get what he wanted. All the candidates present were asked very tough questions, often with video of their past statements.
Trump didn’t dare show up and have to explain is past statements in support of every liberal position he has held for decades; including praise for Hillary, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.
Cruz played it VERY well. Marco knew it; he kept trying to interrupt so Cruz couldn’t finish.
You have to give the guy credit: he’s a masterful showman, and there’s no business like show business.
And the polls indicate trends and the trend for Sen. Cruz isn’t good. In fact, his trend line is continuing to dip.
This Trump supporter thought Megyn was smug as usual when questioning Cruz. Then Chris Wallace had to be a jerk and then used Jeb's brother to justify a question.
Trump was right to avoid these idiots. It's not like we were going to learn anything new tonight. Did they do a follow up question on fantasy football tonight?
