How’s that free medical, free college tuition, free pregnancy leave and all the other goodies working for ya people of England?
England doesn’t get free university tuition. The free medical care is superb though. Had a suspected stroke (which fortunately turned out to be merely a seizure) and they kept me in for two days running tests and it didn’t cost me a penny! In America I’d have been crippled with ruinous medical bills for having the audacity to have had a medical emergency through no fault of my own. If I’d had cancer or a heart attack, I doubt it would have been conducive to getting to focus on my recovery. How’s that collective shafting of the American population by the vested interests of the American insurance and medical industry working for ya? :D
