If I were Ted I would not go anywhere near the Flint Water Crisis.
IMHO this was custom-made by Democrats to try and take out Gov. Snyder before any more Scott Walker-type reforms come down the pike.
I would not be shocked if some union hack at the Flint water plant deliberately let the bad product go out through the system. What’s a few kids with elevated lead in their bodies? Kneecapping Republicans is the greater good.
No matter what Cruz tries to do here it will surely be spun against him.
I don’t care who you are but this is a big problem in Flint and big problems are tackled piece by piece. If Cruz decided his limited resources were best used in this manner then so be it.
When most people show up to help in a crisis/emergency situation their resources, skills, and talents are evaluated and placed to where they would be the most effective.

I wouldn’t blame this on some union hack. They have people taking water samples and people in the lab testing those samples. Those test go in the daily reports. There was a decision made at the top to not report theses lab findings. The people at the top are not union hacks. Accurate reporting would have cost big $$$ to correct the problem which would have meant more union labor.
Most likely the place has been mismanaged for a long time and the management was hiding the information from the board so the true cost would not upset the financials.

On Thursday, EPA Region 5 Administrator Susan Hedman announced she will resign from her post. But the EPA, while contrite, hasn't admitted wrongdoing. Like every other agency facing criticism for the water crisis, it has shifted the blame elsewhere to Michigan's state officials.
But Cruz is obviously not as charitable as the Clintons who oversaw billions of dollars to help the poor people in Haiti. Now those people have bright futures because of the Clintons’ help.
Oh, wait. Never mind. After 13 billion dollars in aid, the people are no better off. That figure, by the way, is enough to have given nearly all of the wage earners in the country about two years salary.
