I talked to a Flint resident today.
She said she’s not a republican but says it isn’t going unnoticed and she really does appreciate it. She said one of the campaign volunteers even gave his personal number in case she needs anything else.

I appreciate that information. I know there are many sensible people still left out there.
Tell me, did CRUZ need to make a big show of this, or was it just a happening that the Press saw and reported on. A serendipity...

Compassion is one of the core principles of conservatism that many seem to have lost.
Some call this a publicity stunt but the campaign has been doing this since early on with no real attention given.

Flint should have replaced all their lead service pipes many years ago, but it would taken time and big bucks. Instead they tasked those bucks to big union salaries and pensions for city employees and free stuff for the GibMeDat crowd, and continued that until near municipal bankruptcy. And Flint’s voters supported them on that.

They’ve been doing it for a couple of weeks without any attention outside of Flint.

That is more GODLY good news......HE tells us not to go bragging about our good works, lest we lose our rewards in heaven. If you brag and boast and receive praise, you already have your reward there is no more.
Being the Godly man that Ted Cruz is, he know this.

Last night at the pro life/Cruz rally in Iowa they asked that people read 2 Chronicles 7:14. Ted Cruz asked that he not be seen as a savior or the nation and that he only seeks to lead he also spoke about Reagan being sworn in with his had deliberately on it.
2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Story about Reagan and 2 Chronicles from a few years back.
Ronald Reagan, a born-again president
During one of the several occasions on which I met with him, I was deeply moved to see President Reagan's Bible opened to 2 Chronicles 7:14. This is the scripture under which he was sworn into office. A note from his mother was in the margin of his Bible. It said: "Son, this scripture is for the healing of the nation." I was also deeply moved to see a sign on his desk that said, "A man can become too great in his own eyes to be used by God, but never too small."

That is very telling and inspirational, thanks for sharing. I love Two Chronicles 7:14, it is what we are called to do. I know many Christians we are doing just that.
Just kidding 2 Chronicles 7:14......just had to make the rub.

Yep, run by progressive Democrats for decades....same as Detroit, same as Saginaw, same as Benton Harbor....and on and on. Crooks and criminals all. Kwame Kilpatrick even waded in from prison, I hear! Precious.
Also, can anyone here honestly tell me if any Non-profit Pro-Life organization gets $500M/year from the feds like PP gets????? if not, why not???????
