Ted Cruz's Senior Yearbook Page Is Prophetic

Reading Senator Ted Cruz's high school yearbook page, which included the Republican presidential candidate's future aspirations, is nothing short of prophetic.

high school student Ted Cruz wanted to run for President pic.twitter.com/Y8ZmgIj4jM - Robert Caruso (@robertcaruso) January 25, 2016

As a senior in high school, Cruz aspired to study at Princeton University, attend Harvard law school, achieve success as a lawyer, hold public office, and eventually run for President of the United States-and win:

Upon graduation Ted hopes to attend Princeton University and major in Political Science and Economics. From there he wants to attend law school (possibly Harvard) and achieve a successful law practice. He then wants to pursue his real goal-a career in politics. Ted would like to run for various political offices and eventually achieve a strong enough reputation and track record to run for-and win-President of the United States.

Thus far, the Texas high schooler with big dreams has achieved all that he hoped.

Attending Princeton University. Check.

Cruz not only attended the prestigious university, he graduated cum laude and polished his skills as dominate debater, becoming the U.S. National Debate Champion for Princeton in 1992.

Attending law school at Harvard University. Check.

Cruz received his law degree from Harvard University in 1995 and graduated magna cum laude. That same year Cruz was the semi-finalist in the World Debating Championship.

Achieving a successful law practice. Check.

Cruz became a partner with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius law firm "where he led the firm's U.S. Supreme Court and national appellate litigation practice."

Here are just some of the other achievements Cruz accomplished with his law degree, per Young Conservatives:

Pursuing politics and "run for various political offices." Check.

Cruz didn't just "run" for political office; he ran and won. In 2012, Cruz pulled out an unlikely win and became a senator in Texas.

Earn a reputation and track record strong enough to run for President of the United States. Check.

Cruz became a maverick in the U.S. Senate, known for sticking to his conservative principles even when it meant taking it on those in his own party. Tackling the issue of Obamacare was a key fight for the senator. Cruz is currently second in national polling to real estate mogul Donald Trump.

"Win" the White House...

Time will tell, but Cruz's track record thus far sure doesn't seem to hurt his chances.

Here's the complete text from the yearbook page featured in the tweet above:

Ted Cruz is a senior at Second Baptist High School. He is a National Merit semi-finalist (finalist pending) and he is currently ranked #1 in his class. Throughout his 12 years of schooling, Ted has maintained straight A's. He has served as class president twice and as vice president of the student body. He was co-author of his school's student council constitution. He is presently captain of the speech team and president of the drama club. His other activities include newspaper, yearbook, key club, literary magazine, teaching computer science, and varsity football, soccer, and basketball.

This is Ted's fourth year to participate in the Ten Pillars Scholarship Program. The past three years he has won first place in his school as well as third in the city and second once. In the past three years he has spoken many times throughout Houston, at Rotary, Exchange, Kiwanis, and other clubs.

This is also Ted's third year as a member of the Constitutional Corroborators. Ted participated in the CC Texas Tour two years ago and their National Tour last year.

2 Chronicles 7:14

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Verse 13 has to happen first.

Then, AFTER that, can verse 14 happen.

We haven’t suffered verse 13 yet.

He left out the part where Glenn Beck swears him in, his campaign jumps the shark, and he wins pluralities in 2 or 3 states.

Should we have someone who wants it too much? I think stress of wanting to be President so much has caused him to age rapidly. 8 years as President and stress will actually make it worse.

But he left in the part about Cruz working in the private sector, something repeatedly denied.

Those Hispanic facial features sure showed when he was a kid. Great yearbook entry.

Can’t you have just a little grace and admire him for being “very” successful in his field of endeavor. He didn’t just accomplish his goals, he “blew them away.” Just as Trump has in all his endeavors.

It shows a lot that he listed those goals and has accomplished most of them. And btw, none of those goals came without focus, determination, intelligence and hard work.

Have people become so hardened that they only want to focus on Cruz’s “perceived” negatives and can’t acknowledge that he is a great American. We need more people that turned out like him.

I’m tired of lawyers/politicians making a mess of our country.

Don’t see a real job in that resume. Law student, lawyer, politicians. Are you guys really buying this crap. I mean really, this guy is your savior? What cause he parrots Limbaugh, Levin and Beck? Talk about sheeple.

That he has been more successful in achievement than 99.999999% of Americans I took as a given. Posting that while his campaign is on a downward slide kind of highlights his likely coming up short of that last .000001% rather than highlight the 99.999999%

Resume?

If you paid attention, trumpette, you would see this is a high school yearbook entry of a motivated young man with lofty goals. Do try to keep up.

You do realize this isn't going to help him any.

People don't love the guy who wanted to be president his whole life long, especially if he was foolish enough to make his ambition public.

He sure succeeded in a lot more of his goals from high school that I have. I wanted to eventually run for president at one time although I’m very glad my life didn’t take that path. That said, it is amazing he has maintained his conservative ideals. When he has a goal, he goes after it, doesn’t he?
