Donald Trump's national campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson defended Sunday a tweet from 2012 in which she lamented that President Obama and Mitt Romney aren't "pure breeds."
"Perfect Obama's dad born in Africa, Mitt Romney's dad born in Mexico. Any pure breeds left? #CNNDebate," Ms. Piersontweeted on Jan. 19, 2012, as the then-GOP candidates took the debate stage in South Carolina.
Confronted with the tweet Sunday on CNN, Ms. Piersonargued that she's a "half-breed" and was simply using the same "silliness" that others use when attacking her.
"Would you like to retract [the tweet]?" CNN's Brian Stelter asked, according to a clip obtained by Raw Story.
"No, not at all," Ms. Pierson replied. "These tweets -- I'm an activist and I am a half-breed. I'm always getting called a half-breed. And on Twitter when you're fighting with liberals and even establishment, you go back at them in the same silliness they are giving you. So, I myself am a half-breed.
"We have entered silly season," she added. "Donald Trump is up in the polls. There's desperate campaigns out there, they can't take him down so they try to take down the people that are around him. And we're just not going to get distracted by all that nonsense."
"I think we've been in silly season for a while," Mr. Stelter mused.

I just hope Trump doesn’t discover his daughter Ivanka is not only a practicing Orthodox Jew (I guess like one of the many Trump wives), but married to a Jewish man and his grandkids are all Jewish.
Not sure they are even 1/2 breeds. More like 1/4 Scottish or something. Practically quadroons.
