Tonight, a top official with the RNC called me to say that National Review was being disinvited [from the CNN debate]. The reason: Our "Against Trump" editorial and symposium. We expected this was coming. Small price to pay for speaking the truth about The Donald.

Here’s a fascinating option, NRO - How about supporting your candidate rather than laying into others?
Oh, right, that might mean you actually exposing the ‘broad conservative consensus’ that you actually believe in.

Stupid move by NRO. They will go down and Cruz will never be POTUS.

In just two short days, Trump became the establishment candidate.

No, the RNC just outed themselves as being in favor of Trump and peddling him all along to derail Ted. This is their goal-—defeat Cruz.

The situation is clear now. trump has always been establishment and recruited as a diversion to derail Ted Cruz.

Oops, is right.
It doesn’t make sense for this supposed conservative, er, publication to post an attack piece on the HISTORIC GOP FRONTRUNNER, who is bringing more folks to their often touted ‘Big Tent’, than any candidate has, since Reagan.
I’m shocked that the RNC had the, um, guts to do this.

The voters are going to defeat Cruz.
To: Jane Long
You have it wrong. Trump is clearly the establishment alternative to prevent any real conservatism especially from Cruz. They would rather a guy like Trump that would “make deals” and sell out conservatives like never before.

NRO has seen how effective Ted Cruz has been now that nobody likes him, so they are seeing what it would take to get nobody to like them.
