Florida Atlantic University released a series of polls Wednesday that will dishearten those pushing the idea that Trump cannot win a general election. The poll not only shows that Trump beats Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) 16% in a general election match-up in the must-win state of Florida, it shows that Trump is the only Republican who beats both.
Against Hillary, Trump wins 47% to 44%.
Against Bernie, Trump wins 47% to 42%.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% loses to Hillary 47% to 42%. The Texas Senator ties with Sanders, 43% to 43%.
Florida Senator Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 79% ties with Clinton 46% to 46%, and beats Sanders 47% to 42%.
Former-Florida Governor Jen Bush beats Clinton 45% to 42%. No poll was taken against Sanders.

Doesn’t matter if Trump is a Closet Democrat
Gosh, I wonder who all those retirees from metro New York are supporting?
But nationwide he loses to both...
Cruz on the other hand...
Odds are the dems win in 2016 no matter what we do. Go for broke.
If Cruz doesn’t win Florida, then he isn’t winning anything.
Like where the hell is he going to make up the electoral votes lost there? He sure isnt going to go for anything NE of Pittsburgh.
Just like Cruz supporters like to say that there is no national primary, well there is no national general election either.
State by state is how the general will be counted. That’s how it should ultimately be polled.
Trump is getting all the establishment support. Even Rove is spending money in support of Trump.
A poll of polls? btw, the Florida Atlantic poll outpolls Democrats over Republicans by 10%. So it makes sense that A Democrat like Trump would to better with Democrat voters than would Cruz. It is also noteworthy that with the Trump v. Clinton, or Trump v. Sanders question, no Conservative option is given. And finally, over 18% of the respondents said that they were not going to vote in the primary. So a 3% differential is insignificant once 18% of the poll is discarded. Which is exactly why these polls are worthless. I am more interested in hearing how many more delegates Trump currently has than Cruz, Rubio, et al.
Trump ain't in the closet. His Democrat views are out there for everyone to see.
He’s worse than a closet demoRAT. The GOPe have severely damaged the Republican brand, now Donald Trump and Sarah Palin and co. are poised to destroy the grassroots (Conservative/Tea Party) as well.
It’s not too late to wake up, my fellow CONSERVATIVES...Ted Cruz 2016!
Cuban-Americans make up 10% of the GOP primary vote in Florida. I’m not worried.
