One America News Network and Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 1,197 registered voters in New Hampshire regarding the presidential election and other areas. The sample includes 689 Republican Primary participants, 472 Democratic Primary participants, and the remainder not planning on participating in the primary, but are planning to vote in the regular elections. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 2.8% [3.7% for Republican Primary/4.5% for Democratic Primary] at the 95% confidence level. The poll was conducted from January 15th through the 18th. The total may not round to 100% because of rounding. The polls were conducted using automated telephone calls and weighted separately for each population in the question presented. The raw results are given after the weighted results.

Trump with a commanding lead. Kasich though with decent numbers in this poll unlike the recent CNN poll. Must be some fuidity with his support based on who gets polled. Cruz at 10%.

Kasich is beating Cruz in NH? Yikes, I can almost hear the Cruzers rending their clothing and looking for the sackcloth.

However, I don't buy it. No way can Kasich truly be in second place.

I live in Central NH and I absolutely believe Kasich will finish second, and may even make it close.

There are several reasons for this.

1) Goo-goos. NH, especially the NHGOPe, is overrun with “good government” types. They don’t much care what the government is doing, as long as a) it isn’t corrupt, and b) liberals don’t hate them.

2) Direct ads. A John Kasich robot (pretty good robot, too) calls me to talk to me EVERY F***ING NIGHT. His TV ads are 5x anybody else.

3) Pressing the flesh. Works in NH. He’s everywhere.

4) He’s not Jeb.

So, Trump will win, and I believe he will win big. Kasich #2, Rubio #3, Cruz <10%. Calling out the Christian loons in Iowa will hurt Cruz big-time here, the most unchurched state in the nation.

Judging from posts in this chatroom forum, one would think the race is tight between Cruz and Trump.

Echo-chamber can lead to some mighty distorted perspective, compared with reality.

I have a hard time getting a handle on how gullible people are, but team Cruz has taken some HEAVY barrage the past week. Doubts about eligibility and fundamental honesty are tough to surmount with just handwaving. Intuitively, I say the Cruz campaign is dead-man walking.

Thanks for the info. I’d assumed the Kasich numbers were a fluke.

Kasich does appear to be trending up in New Hampshire.

A month ago he was polling about an average of 7% in New Hampshire, now he is polling around 13%.

Which still leaves him light years behind Trump who is polling around 32% in New Hampshire at the moment.

The problem for Kasiach (besides looking like an idiot) is that he is doing so HORRIBLE in Iowa. His average poll there is 2-3%.

I would expect Kasiach’s numbers in New Hampshire to fall after doing so poorly in Iowa. Someone will surprise and outperform polling in Iowa, but it wont be Kasiach. Which means the story coming out of Iowa will be Trump Trump Trump and whoever else might surprise.

But either way ... it doesn't matter because Trump is ahead by a mile nearly everywhere. The race will be over the second Trump takes Florida.

“My Dad was a mailman” in second place? I thought Christie was doing well in NH not long ago.

Why?

Up here, doing poorly in Iowa is probably a plus.
