New Hampshire Democrats have an important choice to make on Feb. 9. And the choice is clear: Donald Trump for President.
For decades, Trump has consistently supported bigger government, and ridiculed conservative principles.
During his first - run for the Presidency in 1999, Trump told Larry King, “I believe in universal health care.” He repeated that support in his 2000 book, backing a system like Canada’s single-payer system. And Trump has been consistent, praising Scotland’s single-payer health care system this year. Trump can carry the Democrat’s banner as a longtime advocate for government takeover of health care.
Trump has a long history supporting abortion, describing himself as “very pro-choice,” even going so far as to oppose the ban on partial-birth abortion. This year, he chided Republican candidates for wanting to defund Planned Parenthood, saying he’d look at the organization’s “good aspects.”
Trump has been a consistently strong supporter of government intervention in the economy, particularly on behalf of large, politically connected companies like his., he supported President Obama’s bailout of big banks to keep them afloat and stabilize the national economy.
“I’m not saying I agree with everything he’s doing. I do agree with what they’re doing with the banks. Whether they fund them or nationalize them, it doesn’t matter, but you have to keep the banks going,” Trump told King.
Like the other Democratic candidates, Trump is uncomfortable with large sections of the Bill of Rights. He supported the assault weapons ban, an unconstitutional law that did nothing to reduce violent crime. He rails against the campaign finance system, and his outrageous public statements conflict with the free exercise clause of the First Amendment and the due process clause of the Fifth. Imagine what his judicial appointees could do!
Democrats should take heart that Trump will take the fight to Republicans and their hateful rhetoric.

Trump is the choice of all America loving voters...no matter what party.
With that said, 1) The NH Union Leader hates Trump, 2) NH Union Leader endorses Christie, 3) NH Union Leader is a disaster.
Hey, gotta love that Bibi for President button! There’s someone who understands the middle east!
Please remember, we are being ruled by a Uniparty. So the majority of the Democrats in the wild, so to speak, are as opposed to what the Elites are doing to the country as Republicans in the wild are. This is why we had the phenomenon of Reagan Democrats.
Donald J. Trump has tapped into that base and will be elected by the same margin that Reagan was. I think Donald Trump will actually do a better job than Reagan did at restoring the Republic.
If it wasn’t for Trump, we would get saddled with the sad-sack Bush, or maybe Rubio.
Trump has singlehandedly stopped Bush dead in his tracks, and has prevented Rubio from moving up, by turning illegal immigration into the major issue of the campaign.
In 1992, Trump filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on his Trump Plaza Hotel in Atlantic City. At this time, Trump owed $550 million on the Trump Plaza Hotel. As part of the restructuring, Trump gave Citibank a 49% interest in the hotel. He was given a lenient repayment plan. Trump was able to stay on as CEO but he had to give up his salary.

So I guess you could say Trump is owned by Citibank
Tell me, exactly WHAT PARTY represents Conservatives and Conservative principles because it sure as hell isn't the Democrats OR the Republicans.
wow Not The Onion!
Go Ted!
The Union Leader...how far they have fallen.
now THATS exposure that could send the Donny Over The Edge isn’t it!!
So everyone with a mortgage is owned by the lien holder? In any case Trump no longer owns or operates The Trump Plaza Hotel
Exactly. Looks like his liberal double standard might be showing.
Do you know Trump has a dispute with the little owner of NH Union Leader of the RINO/DemBots?
A pathetic desperate move. Taking a loan in order to subvert campaign financing rules is exactly the same as a real estate deal. Right!
Donald J. Trump ârealDonaldTrump
Union Leader refuses to comment as to why they were kicked out of the ABC News debate like a dog. For starters, try getting a new publisher!
Ouch!
Or does this bother you
Trump would be ok with nationalizing our banks.
“I’m not saying I agree with everything he’s doing. I do agree with what they’re doing with the banks. Whether they fund them or nationalize them, it doesn’t matter, but you have to keep the banks going,”
