No crime found in shutdown of anti-corruption panel

An investigation apparently 'couldn't find any evidence' that a crime was committed when Gov Cuomo shut down his own ethics committee. It appears that the big investigation that was announced for January is now over, and of course 'no corruption could be found' according to the investigators-

There was a big announcement in December that investigators were going after Cuomo, which was especially important because they had just found silver and skelos guilty of corruption, and folks believed Cuomo was guilty of something as well- Especially after he shut down his own ethics committee- Many felt the ethics committee was getting too close to the truth, and that is why He shut them down. Folks in NY were getting pretty pissed about the rampant corruption in Albany politics- (but apparently not pissed enough to vote the corrupt folks out, and replace them with republicans)

Sure, just like there was nothing wrong when he pushed the FM’s to buy at least half their mortgages from people with median incomes below the national average while he was HUD secretary - nobody involved in the great financial collapse of 2008 ever went to jail because there was never an investigation.....
