Rand Paul, Carly Fiorina cut from main GOP debate lineup

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and former technology executive Carly Fiorina will not appear on the primetime debate stage when the Republican Party's 2016 presidential class faces off later this week in South Carolina.

Debate host Fox Business Network announced the debate lineup Monday evening, dealing a blow to both candidates three weeks before Iowas leadoff presidential caucuses. Just seven candidates — the smallest Republican group so far — will be featured in Thursdays 9 p.m. ET main event, based on criteria established by the network that relied on recent polls.

Real estate mogul Donald Trump, the leader in most recent polls, will again appear center stage in the debate. He'll be joined on stage by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Gov. Marco Rubio, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Paul and Fiorina were invited to participate in a 6 p.m. ET undercard debate, although Paul said he would skip the second-tier faceoff...

Others invited to the undercard event include former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Pennsylvania Gov. Rick Santorum.

Yeb gets a legacy seat, even if his polls go to 0.000. Even if his wife declares for Marco.

Yeb is screaming that his legacy seat is not turned on...it is not engaging...not helping him at all.

Legacy is over, Yeb. Done with...cooked.

You are cooked, Yep. You are the end of legacy.

Effing buh, bye...Yeb.

Go away.

NH polls are saving Kasich and Christie so they will be in the next 3 debates. Bush will be in the next 5. Ugggh.

I’m for neither of them, but I find it curious that Kasich and Jeb are still in there. I suspect poll manipulation to benefit the establishment favorites. Too bad. Fiorina is always good for Hillary jabs. While Paul is too libertarian for me, I suspect he actually has more support than Kasich for sure, and Jeb, too.

I don’t want Fiorina to win, but the process should be fair. I highly doubt Kasich is REALLY polling better than Carly.

The Kasich surge in NH has been suspicious. I highly suspect manipulation for this very purpose.

Annoying Kasich is still there, I may not watch. I can take Jeb and Christie, but Mr. Postman is just annoying. He is spending all his time in NH.

Truth be told it should be just Trump, Cruz and Rubio at this point. Even Carson’s paid staff are deserting him.

Jeb spent 70 million and is at 3 percent. And Christie is a failure as NJ governor, the taxes in NJ are thru the roof and so many people have moved out of the state on Christie’s watch its a serious negative, the economy of the state is in horrible shape, like Christie himself.

I’m good with the bigger crowd. No votes have been cast and we should not let easily manipulated polling decide our candidates at this point. What is important right now is to see who articulates conservative principles the best. Even more, though, than selecting the one person is seizing the opportunity to educate the public on Constitutional principles and conservatism, and to expose the lies of the left which do not get exposed via the MSM (Media wing of the Democrat party).

Rand said he is going to go full retard on the Press. He also stated that he will not sit at the kids table because he deserves to be at the adults table.

Larry boy Tribe just admitted on CNN that the reason he thinks this is important is.....

He wants people to stop and think who Cruz would appoint to the Supreme Court, that being Conservatives that he and libs disagree with.

Tribe does not like Cruz politics and he thinks it would be devastating to his side.

Thats what he just said in the nutshell
