Did God create time?
Published: 9 January 2016 (GMT+10)
When preaching the Gospel to people of other religions, it is important to make clear that the God we worship is the ultimate being. God is the sole source of all things, He is uniquely worthy of worship, and the fundamental sin of humanity is that we put other things before God. If we don't make this clear, there is a danger that people of other religions will add God to their pantheon, as today's feedback illustrates.

GOD created everything. (period)
God created time, but many Christians believe they are experts on God’s time. They aren’t : )
Exactly.
But pantheists and atheists live in persistent self-delusion.
Good answer!
God is a relative of time. 1st Cousins I think.
Somebody really smart said that.
Yes! Especially the Seventh Day Sabbath!! He even sanctified it and commanded everyone to “remember it!!!” (with his finger in granite, no less)
I think everything exist at once.
Good tagline.
“So the evening and the morning were the first day.” Genesis 1:5.
Since God was the only one around at the time, we take His Word for it.
Short answer: time is a byproduct of electromagnetic waves in motion, and since everything in the physical world is a collection of electromagnetic waves, then the creator of the waves is the creator of time as well.
For a more complete answer, one would have to discuss this with a nuclear physicist.
More than that. God, being without limit, is Infinite. God is all things and more than all things. There is no "not God". There cannot be.
All God had to create from was God. If all you had to create from were brick, then everything would be brick. Similarly, since all God had to create from is God, then all must be God, in varying forms and expressions.
Time was invented by the guy whose wife was never ready when they were supposed to leave.
It was a failure.
Man says to God, “What’s a million dollars to you?”
God replies, “A penny.”
Then the man asks, “What’s a million years to you?”
God replies “A second.”
Then the man asks God, “Can you give me a penny?”
And God says, “Sure, just give me a second.”
Isnt time just a construct?
We know that it speeds up and slows down due to gravity, can be bent and twisted, and our measurements on Earth only really apply to this ball’s rotation, tilt, and orbit. So whatever his reasoning for it, we likely dont really remotely understand how it really works.
LOL!!
That would not be "creation". God created the universe from nothing. He spoke it into existence. He did not make it out of anything, including himself.
