FLASHBACK: RNC Completes 'Autopsy' on 2012 Loss, Calls for Inclusion Not Policy Change
ABC News ^

n what they called the "most comprehensive post-election review" ever made of an electoral loss, the Republican National Committee and a group of project co-chairs unveiled a report today saying that they need to open their playbook and put their "cards on the table face up" in order to win presidential elections in the future.

While unveiling the 100-page report at the National Press Club today, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said he wanted the report, or autopsy, to be "honest" and "raw," stressing the message of inclusion to Americans who might not be on board with all the party's policies.

After Romney's loss, the RNC paid for a 100-page report telling them why they lost.

This is it:

http://goproject.gop.com/rnc_growth_opportunity_book_2013.pdf

The document calls for more inclusion - reach out to Hispanics, African Americans women.

Trump comes along:

25% of the black vote supports Trump:

http://www.theamericanmirror.com/shock-poll-trump-receives-25-of-black-vote-in-general-election-matchup/

More than half of Trump's supporters are women:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2015/09/09/who_are_trumps_supporters.html

Trump is getting more support among Hispanics than Romney:

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/11/11/poll-trump-gets-hispanic-support-romney-2012/

Several political analysts say Trump is a moderate on positions.

Yes, he has high negatives due to the 24/7 MSM meltdown as well as the Uniparty bashing. Those negatives have gone down each month with Republicans and will with the rest of the 'low information voters' once they stop and listen. Most are getting news these days only from Facebook or late show TV or not paying attention at all this early in the race.

So why is the RNC in meltdown when Trump is delivering what they said they wanted?

They are in meltdown because Trump can’t be bought. Being bought is what the uniparty is all about.

The RNC and the crony “experts” they hired to do this ridiculous “analysis” are idiots. The 100-page report can clearly be ignored since it likely has more of the same bad advice the crony experts always give the Stupid Party.

And any “negatives” the US population have now with Trump and Cruz will be dropping significantly as they get to know them (not their caricatures painted by the establishment and mainstream media) better in the 2016 campaigns.

Here's the important paragraph: The report, called the "Growth and Opportunity Project," lays out an extensive plan the RNC believes will lead the party to victory with an extensive outreach to women, African-American, Asian, Hispanic and gay voters. Among the plans: hiring paid outreach staffers across the country in a $10 million push that begins right away; backing "comprehensive immigration reform"; abbreviating the presidential primary process with fewer debates, specifically saying the party would like at least half the 20 there were during the 2012 cycle; and moving the convention to June or July, as well as improving the data and digital effort.

Apparently, the answer is to become the Democrats. What a useful report!

“... with an extensive outreach to women, African-American, Asian, Hispanic and gay voters.”

Heaven forbid the RNC would reach out to Conservative candidates.

the RNC = Priebus, another of the Wisconsin-based GOPers that are NOT conservative.

The GOP will remain in the toilet until some conservatives rise to leadership.

It is not a coincidence the last great conservative speaker we had was from the South, Gingrich.

The 2012 loss was due to one thing and one thing only.

Mitt Romney.

The report lies to protect the guilty.

Losing minority run critical districts in swing states with 100% of the vote for democrats in two federal elections without a challenge peep from the GOP - that is the real reason.

Failure to challenge the vote fraud is the real reason. The left knows they did it twice and they are outflanking the GOP for the next victory. Motor voter, dead voter, same day voter all do the same thing - they win elections for the democrats and leave the GOP wondering what hit them.

This election is not about the economy or immigration or moslems or the second amendment, it is about who will steal the most votes.

WHY THE DEMS KNOW THEY WILL ALWAYS WIN AND WHY THE GOP CAN'T CHALLENGE VOTE FRAUD:

What the BUREAUCRATS at the RNC will NEVER understand is that a campaign, when fully utilized, doesn’t need to merely reflect the desires of the electorate, it can DETERMINE the needs of the electorate when used as a TEACHING medium, which is exactly what Trump is doing. The electorate can be given new facts, new interpretive frameworks, can be taught history, can be made smarter, rather than being pandered to. A SMART LEADER will want a smart populous because policy decisions are complex and the people must be brought up to speed on that complexity. We’re not only behind a future President Trump, but we are learning from a PROFESSOR TRUMP who will raise the bar on ALL elections to come and institute profound changes in how Americans see themselves and how their country acts in the World today. The GOP is in desperate need of a transfusion of PRINCIPLE via a capacity to step inside the minds of a Benjamin Franklin or a Thomas Paine, etc.

It would be jaw droppingly awesome if Donald could open every campaign meeting reading from and briefly teaching from any of a thousand books on the early history of the US. He could come out with a CAMPAIGN READING LIST that he expects every one of his supporters to read through before going to the polls. This would truly begin the work of making America great again.

In other words Prince Reebus wants the GOP completely changed to support sexual perversion posing as "marriage," baby-killing en masse for convenience sake, less wasteful foreign use of troops, a tsunami of cheap labor from foreign countries to keep those middle class wogs in their place getting used to the new poverty of the former middle class, and, above all, absolute non-stop butt-smooching of the corrupt crony "capitalists" until they have abolished the last decent paying job, jettisoned the last benefit package, and squeezed every last nickel out of the hands of former working class folks so that Muffie's trust fund can be better padded and Skipper's string of polo ponies extended. These people are slime and have long deserved to be exterminated (not physically) politically. Romney was the last straw o more buying nominations. They lose the nomination or they LOSE the election. First things first.

The Republican National Committee has become a leading edge of our enemies.

Only 25% of evangelicals who are so vocal in the primary process vote in the election. And they didn’t turn out for a Mormon. So, try NOT running a Mormon.

Uh, it really doesn’t take a 100 pages to explain the losses. The GOPe selects crappy candidates who are contemptuous of their own party members, and yet are afraid of the media, afraid of the Democrats, afraid of the electorate, and afraid of their own shadows.

In addition, the GOP base knows these candidates are liars who, like the GOP-controlled Congress, will change nothing, because the whole lot is bought and paid for lock, stock and barrel to the millionaire and billionaire plutocrat and autocrat string pullers. These candidates have no appeal whatsoever to the GOP rank and file. And that’s what they always lose.

“The GOPe is about to be consigned to the dustbin of history.”

That’s my conclusion. But they got to spread some money around in one of their last little deluded gasps. They’re toast.

Good points made by all.

The report should have noted that Obama is an extraordinary case for Democrats. Republicans made major gains in Congress and largely rejected his polities. He won because a hardcore base of supporters (blacks and lefties) turned out in record numbers. It was the INTENSITY of support for Obama that made the difference.

Which candidates for Republicans have the intense support? Cruz and Trump.

A Drudge headline today said 17% of American jobs are now taken by immigrants.

http://www.nationaljournal.com/next-america/population-2043/immigrants-workforce-state-state-industry-industry

94 million Americans out of work. 50% black unemployment in the major cities. Educated folks being replaced by H1B via scams supported by both parties.

Just interesting that Trump delivers much of what the RNC said they needed.

They can’t control him and now they say he’s unelectable.
They are happy to stay the (dis)loyal opposition and elect Hillary.
