Clinton's Bosnia Adventure Goes South
American Thinker ^ | January 3, 2016 | John Smith

Since the Gulf War, no one would ever accuse the beltway gang of being astute strategic thinkers. While the Democrats have not cornered the market in this regard, there’s no doubt the leftist DC establishment have become experts at developing policies that result in abject failures. These misadventures go down the memory hole in the offices of the NYT and the WaPo, except if a Republican is President. But not so with foreign news outlets. France 24 has highlighted Bill Clinton's arrogance and ignorance in one of history's classic leftist military interventions.

In the early 90s, US media crews showed us every detail of the Bosnian battlefields, burning farmhouses, and battered marketplaces, in order to paint a picture of a complex ethnic war that was tearing the country apart. CNN and its go-to-war promoter, Christiane Amanpour, were particularly effective at laying a guilt trip on the American public and politicians in urging intervention.

In reality, the ethnic and religious angle was emphasized because the Clinton administration just could not bring itself to declare that the war was largely a fight of national identity to gain freedom from tyrannical, socialist dictators by the name of Slobodan Milosevic and his Bosnian Serb ally, Radovan Karadzic. It was not advisable to openly go against ideological soul mates of the communist persuasion.

I’ve often wondered how much money the Clintons took under the table — in exchange for ordering American forces to fight on the side of the Albanian terrorists.

The Clinton morons even bombed the Chinese Embassy. They have tried to bury this embarrassing moment.

I've often wondered if the whole US political establishment isn't another ABSCAM writ large.

This article is sort of cockeyed. It blames the war on Milosevic (a communist banker—often a closet ally of the “West”— who betrayed the Serbian people) and the worthy leader of the Bosnian Serbs, Radovan Karadzic. Then it shifts the blame to the main villains—the jihadist Bosnian muslims and their foreign jihadist allies, and the clintons.

Right now, many Bosnian muslims and KLA Albanians are fighting in Syria and Iraq as part of ISIS/Daesh, and some of them are ISIS agents in Europe and North America.

Meanwhile, the Bosnian Serbs are involved in NO terrorism whatsoever. They just want to be free of the muslim/NATO dominated “Bosnia”, and at least many want to rejoin the rest of Serbia. Then there are the prisoners of The Hague—including Karadzic and Mladic, who deserve to be released from the Kangaroo “Court” and its totally biased proceedings. (I just got back from Divine Liturgy, where I prayed for all Orthodox captives several times.)

Phooey to the clintons and obama and their muslim allies!!!!

1rudeboy? The Serb-hater, Russian-hater, and Orthodox Christian-hater?

Phooey!!!! Your bias is lang-standing and intolerable!!!!

The real war criminals are the clintons, obama, Nuland, Samantha Power, and their cronies and clients, especially the muslims and UkroNazis!!!!

Phooey, phooey, and phooey again!!!!

And how much did they get from the Saudis to establish, in Bosnia, a Muslim country on the European continent?

I seem to remember that lots of bridges were bombed in the capital city of Belgrade during Bill Clinton’s siege of Serbian/Yugoslavia. Consistent with Democrat party values, the Christian Serbs were bombed in order to protect the Kosovo Muslims - who eventually drove most of the Serbian Orthodox Christians out of Kosovo.

That fiasco ought to be brought to the attention of voters again. Democrats always punish the Christians; they make up fables about those mean Christians who are on ‘their high horses’, etc..

So, we have had 16 years of two Democrat administrations which have favored Muslims over Christians and Jews in the Middle East and SE Europe.

In answer to ‘how many Catholics’ did Clinton kill - probably none. The Serbs are Serbian/Eastern Orthodox.

Another thing I remember is Russia being very much against the Clinton administration’s bombing of Serbia.

The Clintons Grab and Go---marching thru US politics

The Clintons Colombian connection: a secret investment fund (11/27/15--NYPost Ed)

Even as 2016 Hillary Clinton is upping her anti-Wall Street rhetoric, here comes word that the Clinton Foundation is running a private-equity company down in Colombia. The private-equity field is where Mitt Romney earned his fortune — and hundreds of millions of dollars worth of negative ads from the Obama campaign back in 2008.

The Clinton Foundations Bogota-based firm, Fondo Acceso, was started in 2010 by Bill Clinton, Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim and mining magnate Frank Giustra, with seed funding of $20 million from the foundation’s Clinton-Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative and the SLIM Foundation, the Washington Free Beacon reports.

Anything to hide here? Well, Fondo Acceso took down its Web site once the Beacon broke the story. And the venture wasn’t even registered as a private equity fund in Colombia, thereby skirting government oversight. A good move for an investment firm linked to the US secretary of state.

Ken Boehm, a watchdog with the National Legal and Policy Center, notes,

Not to mention the ethical murk of having two Clinton connected charities co-own an investment fund in a developing dirt-poor nation (that is cravenly throwing its sick, infected, poverty-stricken natives over the US border to ride the US gravy train).

Especially when one of those charities is the Clinton family nonprofit---- that includes a presidential candidate who has raised tens of millions from the financial sector she’s promising to reform.

Does Hillary Clinton have a nonhypocritical bone in her body?

========================================

Every aspect of the Bill Clinton presidency must be examined for wrongdoing. Highlighting news reports WRT the notoriously greedy Clintons used their tax-exempt Clinton Foundation charity to setup a money-making private equity fund in the corrupt country of Columbia.

Why Columbia?

WIKI REFERENCE---In 2000, the Clinton administration committed $1.3 billion in foreign aid to the corrupt country of Columbia...... and up to five hundred military personnel to train local forces.

An additional three hundred civilian personnel were allowed to assist in the eradication of coca. This aid was an addition to $330 million of previously approved US aid to Colombia. $818 million was earmarked for 2000, with $256 million for 2001.

The Clinton-era appropriations for his Columbia Plan made Colombia the third largest recipient of foreign aid from the United States at the time.

--SNIP--

As of 2008, the U.S. has provided nearly $1.3 billion to Colombia through Clinton Plan Colombia nonmilitary aid programs:

<><> Alternative Development (2000-2008 cost: $500 million)

<><> Internally Displaced Persons (2000-2008 cost: $247 million)

<><> Demobilization and Reintegration (2000-2008 cost: $44 million)

<><> Democracy and Human Rights (2000-2008 cost: $158 million)

<><> Promote the Rule of Law (2000-2008 cost: $238 million)
