I’ve been to 15 Rose Bowl games and would be there today had the USC Trojans held sway in Santa Clara last month. There’s always a lot of junk in the sky above the stadium—planes towing signs, airships, helicopters from news networks, etc., but I have never seen sky writing.

A band of FReepers all chipped in and we rented a banner pulling aircraft to pull a sign with “Impeach Clinton” on it to fly around the Super Bowl.

It made it around a couple of times, in the pattern with other banner aircraft, until the FAA called it in.
