I’m tired of hearing about this man’s actions.
Dang, now how am I going to get my canned lion?
I forgot to add. Does anyone make bottled lion instead, maybe frozen?
Without lions we'd be overrun with wildebeests....and who wants that.
Thanx to National Geographic channels, I can watch wildebeests get eaten all day long.
Wildebeests are like liberals....they never learn and they follow the herd...right into crocodile-infested waters.
*Didn't they used to be gnus?
Errr, don't you mean "king of the savanna"?
(Facts? We don't need no steenken FACTS! This is all about EMOTION!)
Not my cup of tea either. But I don’t think the game wardens really should be involved with things happening on private land with privately owned animals.
President Obama's mid-December move to destroy a huge segment of the African economy by removing a substantial portion of their income from big game hunts.
Obama's move will do little or nothing to protect African lions, but will do much to eliminate a substantial source of income to those poor countries.
Huh?

Savannah, plain, tundra, jungle, etc.
5.56mm
Don’t tell the Brits about this. They’ll start another petition.
Not to mention most trophy hunts are for male lions...
There are always a surplus of males since their pride-based social structure is polygamous... and too many males stress existing prides by constantly trying to beat the dominant male... reducing the productivity of females and endangering cubs in all stages of growth. Each time the resident male is defeated a new one takes over and kills the former’s cubs.
“Game wardens put a stop to canned hunts of even exotic species of deer on game ranches around here-that is not âhuntingâ in any sense and it is animal cruelty, period. If someone doesnât have the cojones to hunt an animal-any animal-on its own turf, then they donât need to hunt at all...”
Agree here. There are those who think that it impinges on “freedom”, but doing these things is morally offensive to the vast majority of people. Never mind that it is stupid and wasteful (unless they plan on eating it ALL)...I certainly don’t think that it helps the image of “the ugly American” overseas.
I have read that the Chinese have also cracked down on the rhino horn business for that same reason. They don’t have enough resources to catch everyone, but when they do, punishment is swift and severe.
I’m thinking the cowardly lion in The Wizard of Oz. “If I were the King of the Forest!!!”.
#1,2, and 3 on that list are directly related to liberalism.
Half of them want to call in an orbital nuclear strike when they see a grass snake.
= = =
What half is that, the lesbos?
It’s no more cruel than the way your dinner at a restaurant was procured... or do you think your chicken or cow was running free and was hunted on the open range?
But what you describe is too “binary” and “hetero normative”. What about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered lions? Don’t they deserve equal rights?? Shouldn’t lion society reflect this????
Sarcasm.....
