(Howie) Carr: Bill Cosby's cash will buy 'justice'
Boston Herald ^ | December 31, 2015 | Howie Carr

No way do they convict Bill Cosby on these charges.

I'm not saying that because I think he's innocent. Obviously he's not. It's just that these kinds of prosecutions almost never succeed -- from Michael Jackson to Errol Flynn all the way back to Fatty Arbuckle. It's easy enough to ruin somebody's reputation with an indictment, but "beyond a reasonable doubt" is a pretty high bar if you're looking to put a guy in jail.

Especially a guy who's got more money than God, which certainly describes Bill Cosby.

[Snip]

I've been rereading all the information on another one of these celebrity rape cases. Remember William Kennedy Smith, accused in 1991 of sexually assaulting a single mother he picked up in a bar in Palm Beach after a day and night of titanic drinking with his uncle, the late Sen. Ted Kennedy?

That case went to trial eight months after the crime, not 12 years. The victim had accepted no settlements. She reported the crime immediately. They had X-rays of her bruises. The TV networks put a blue dot over her face when she testified.

Despite all that, it took the jury only 77 minutes to find the Kennedy cousin not guilty.

... and if Cosby were a libtard and had a little more political clout, he wouldn't have even been charged!

When Gloria Allred is involved, my bullshit meter starts pinging. I remember what she did to Herman Cain.

Many years ago, an associate met him and said he was the rudest, most pompous jerk she ever met.

I'm glad this is coming about. We know he's a cheat. Wifie likes his money... Ya think?

His big cash payment settlement to the victim earlier in this case sure didn’t stop the charges.

His error was in lecturing Negro audiences with sense. I expected the Left to exact some revenge on the man. I did not expect it to take this long.

When my wife was a kid she saw him in a bright yellow jumpsuit at the Tucson airport. When she went over and asked for his autograph, he started yelling and said, ‘You blew my cover,’ and told her to get away from him.

I was surprised how many of the women are white; what’s that about? When I saw him being helped along as he walked, I figured he was expecting a conviction and preparing to ask for leniency due to medical issues. If he can barely walk, he won’t be date-raping anymore...

My brother in law was a Delta pilot. Had him on a couple of flights and said he was an ass and very rude to the flight attendants.

I would guess the fact that he has been charged now says he’s mostly out of money now.

If Bill Cosby only had some of Bill Clinton’s “White Privilege”.

Out of $$? At one time, he was worth over $400M. Is he down to his last $100M?

Clinton may have semi-escaped when he was “only impeached,” but wait until Donald Trump gets through with him.

Cosby will never go to jail — he is too rich, famous and old. Also...he’s not white.

“I thought Bill Clinton was black.”

He’s “black” like Rachel Dolezal!

...all the way back to Fatty Arbuckle.

I've read that Arbuckle actually was innocent of causing the young woman's death.

He got a rep as being a conservative, which he's not. Statements were attributed to him which he never made. And he was on board for Al Sharpton's Tawana Brawley fraud.

What I don’t understand is, with all his money why does he have a lawyer from Howard University Law School. Or is she just a front and the white lawyers from a prestigious law firm will do all the actual work.
