Donald Trump may have recently been snubbed this week by the publisher of the largest newspaper in New Hampshire, but the Republican presidential front-runner is still managing to amass endorsements from a host of both likely and unlikely supporters. Case in point: As proof of the latter, John Wayne's daughter recently expressed her allegiance to Trump, who she said "has finally given the people of America a voice."An undated letter apparently penned by Aissa Wayne was posted to Trump's Facebook page Wednesday afternoon and included a pledge of support for the White House hopeful after he visited the Iowa town where the legendary silver screen star was born. Trump was on the campaign trail this past summer in the state that is hosting the first primary in the presidential nominating process when he took time out to stop by the town of Winterset, where John Wayne was born May 26, 1907.
"My dad, I am sure, would be very proud of Mr. Trump and the goal to Make America Great again! I want to thank Mr. Trump for the tireless work he is doing for this country," Aissa Wayne wrote in part. "The average American citizen is mad as hell that our country is being sold down the river. Mr. Trump has finally given the people of America a voice for which I am so grateful."
A lovely letter from the daughter of the late great John Wayne. Our country could use a John Wayne right now.

Trump's lead in the polls has fallen a bit in Iowa, so Aissa Wayne's letter likely couldn't come at a better time for his campaign's efforts in the state.
John Wayne was a staunch conservative Republican, so his daughter's support for a candidate who has proposed some hyper-conservative ideas for the country should not come as much of a surprise. The actor excoriated Jane Fonda for her stance against the Vietnam War and famously lauded the Republican former U.S. president Richard Nixon as being "too great a man to be mixed up in anything like Watergate."
Trump has attracted a good deal of endorsements from people outside of the traditional political landscape, including public figures such as retired boxer Mike Tyson and actor Charlie Sheen. However, people with a political background have also endorsed Trump, like former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Venture, who this past summer said, "I hope Trump wins," Politico reported.
Prior to the kind words from John Wayne's daughter, Russian President Vladimir Putin last week threw his support behind the man who has shaken up the political establishment by leading the Republican polls for months. "He's a really brilliant and talented person, without any doubt. It's not our job to judge his qualities, that's a job for American voters, but he's the absolute leader in the presidential race," Putin said Dec. 17 during a press conference in Moscow, BuzzFeed reported.
I feel some ‘slpodey coming this way.
;)
Trump will make hay with THIS one !
I wonder if this is real.
Her email and accounts were used in an anti-Obama scam back in 2011
I have no doubts the Duke would be a Trumpster.
It's not possible to make an anti-Rodeo Clown scam because no one knows who the empty suit is.
That’s the beauty of make believe. You cannot be proven wrong.
I wonder what the Duke’s 3 central and South American wives would think.
Whatever he told them to believe I imagine.
And these are the words from The Duke himself! After all these years.
