Trump ‘Attacking Bill Clinton’ Exasperates NBC’s Andrea Mitchell

You could hear it in her voice. Hosting Meet the Press on Sunday, NBC's Andrea Mitchell was clearly exasperated by Donald Trump daring to warn Hillary Clinton he would raise Bill Clinton's "penchant for sexism" if he campaigns for her. Mitchell was so annoyed by it that she brought it up during three segments. -

First, with Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, she let out a loud sigh in highlighting Trump "attacking" Bill Clinton: "Are we going to get into an argument not only of sexism between Donald Trump and Bill Clinton but, eh, Donald Trump attacking Bill Clinton?"

Second, with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chair of the Democratic National Committee, Mitchell raised her voice on the name "Bill Clinton" as she cited "this new attack" that Trump "has unleashed on Twitter against Bill Clinton campaigning for Hillary Clinton more actively in January?"

Third, an incensed Mitchell set up a panel segment: "What about Donald Trump? Going after Hillary Clinton, going after Bill Clinton? Does this work for him?"

Oh baloney.

If Bill Clinton steps into this, he deserves to become an issue.

If he doesn’t want the attention, he should stand aside.

His choice.

Exactly.

Bill becomes a target if he stumps for Hillary and a legitimate one. It ties her with the ‘politics of the past’ and the scandals. Also makes he look weak - that she needs her man to fight her fights for her. “Are we electing Hillary, or is this Bill’s third term?”

I posted an article earlier today (that was taken down) that Hillary was sent to rehab for alcoholism back in 2008.

When is Trump going to bring that up?

Here’s the article:

Many people suffer with alcoholism, but should she be drug tested regularly?

Americans have a right to know their president isn’t a lush.

She slept through the meeting on Benghazi the day after it happened. Was she drunk that night?

He pretty much has had a free ride and so has Hillary on this issue. The press bypasses it at any cost. It totally destroys their credibility with women which leaves them with precious little so the press is reluctant to see it air. The idea it will become an issue that blows up in their faces is something they are only now starting to come to grips with.

Hillary’s “Nuts and Sluts” campaign against Bill’s “Bimbos” will continue to have repercussions.

Trump is itching for this fight and she will take the bait. The other pansies have already declared they won’t go there. Cruz should jump on board or he is just like all the rest.

She reminds me of a comedy skit I once saw on TV. In it, a couple were up in their massive bedroom after having returned from some posh dinner party - she in a gown and jewels and he is a tuxedo.

They were lamenting over the ‘phonies’ at the party, as each pulled off their wigs, false teeth, prosthetics, lifts, cinches and what nots. It was pretty funny.

Andrea reminds me of the lady with the wig.

Trump is going in too early on this, He should wait until The Beast is the nominee.

Whether or not Bill “The Fornicator” Clinton campaigns for his faux wife is not relevant.

The real issues are Hillary’s hypocrisy, her lies, her incompetence, her criminality, and her treason.

I’m reasonably sure Trump is the only viable candidate who will go after her on all of those issues. The others? I have my doubts.

"Oh baloney. If Bill Clinton steps into this, he deserves to become an issue. If he doesn’t want the attention, he should stand aside. His choice."

Couldn't agree more except that I kinda would like to see the lying, parsing, spinning, rapist ego get in the mix. I'm not a Trump fan (Cruz here), but would love to see the Donald hammer him and Hillary. I'm sure he would not shy away from Billy-boys womanizing and other scandals.

What I really want to see is Cruz or Trump hammer Hillary on her total failure as SoS:
Reset button with Russia? That was the most childish thing I've seen in my political life;
Over throw of benign Qaddafi and turn Libya into another terrorist operating state;
Support the regime change from Egypt's Muberack to the Muslim Brotherhood control (thankfully their military said no go);
Benghazi?

Seriously, did she do ANY good in all her travels around the World as Secretary of State? Tell me one and I will give credit due.

It's an issue. Trump more than anyone else imaginable will be a great caretaker for the WH to bring the building to its full historic glory and splendor. It's had some pretty tacky residents over the past few decades.

Can't imagine Trump doing midnight pizza and high protein desserts from an intern.

Go ahead and try playing the gender card there Hillary.
Mr. Trump is no Mitt Romney nor Juan McCain type shrinking violet.
He will rake Bill and his sordid past and your covering for his cigar habits ETC. through the mud where they deserve to be.

Andrea does not understand that she is putting an exclamation point on the subject. Attacking Trump decisions always turns out to be adding publicity. That is why he doesn’t have to spend much advertising money. The opposition does it for him.

Fact is, she brought up Clinton’s infidelity three times for the listening audience. Trump didn’t have to do anything she did.

Trump would take us through the nightmare again. A whole new generation learning perversion at too young an age.
Trump has not already made Cruz more palatable he would do the same for Hill and Bill in the general election.
