Crowd funding projects like Kickstarter are noted for their support of Leftist/Liberal causes, but it is interesting to note how poorly some conservative projects are funded. Here it is at the end of the funding period on Tuesday, and this Conservatives Unite project attracted zero funding? Makes you wonder whether it is the premise of the project or the fact it is oriented towards conservatives?

Rational people...conservatives...smell something
foul in both source, and premise.

Clever way to build a site and profit from it. :-)

I have a hard time with the casual use of “conservative” anymore since so many Trump supporters try to paint him with a conservative brush while not really arguing when you point out that he’s progressive. It’s dawning on me that conservative is a relative term, having lost most of its meaning with the GOPe and now with Trump’s popularity, which are two sides of the same counterfeit coin. Henceforth, people will have to define their version of conservatism for me before we can walk united politically.

Why should we fund this? We’ve got Rush, Hannity, Savage, Quinn, Ingram, Bruce, Levin and four dozen other conservative shows. There are literally dozens of websites dedicated to streaming conservative talk radio, then there are the hundreds of conservative pod casts. (I’ve got a new one on my FB page)
Saying that we don’t have a ‘voice’ is ridiculous.
So, no. I wouldn’t pay to fund this. But they have a right to ask.

Ah. I didn’t read the whole thing before I posted.
But the point stands. We’ve got plenty of conservative websites and it doesn’t cost $2,500 to get one up and running.
