I have a hard time with the casual use of “conservative” anymore since so many Trump supporters try to paint him with a conservative brush while not really arguing when you point out that he’s progressive. It’s dawning on me that conservative is a relative term, having lost most of its meaning with the GOPe and now with Trump’s popularity, which are two sides of the same counterfeit coin. Henceforth, people will have to define their version of conservatism for me before we can walk united politically.

Imagine how I feel when talking to obnoxious people who assert Trump is progressive and urge me to support Cruz, when I can prove that Cruz is a liar. Their pathetic appeals fall short when they prove themselves even delusional about their own candidate.

It isn't just the Trump supporters. Most of those non-Dems on Capitol Hill voting FOR Obama's agenda call themselves "conservatives."
Notice how "conservative" they try to appear when they are up for reelection.
