No wonder online shopping is so popular. Look for that to be the future, and malls to go the way of the dinosaur. We will turn into a people huddled behind locked doors, unable to go out.
Malls are obsolete. We have one mall left in our area. I’ve been there twice in ten years. The other major mall is shutting down. And this is shopping central. Three other major malls have shut down, one in response to gang violence. Our Country Club Plaza had some trouble in the summer a few years ago but that’s been settled down and it’s all open so controlled by weather.
Wow. How much tax revenue is lost when they shut down the mall? How much is the government losing over this? I’m surprised the IRS doesn’t step in and put a stop to this nonsense.

The operative terms for inability to control is “showing great restraint.” “Showing great restraint” is a synonym for “Tolerance.” Of course the true meaning of tolerance in 2015 A.D. being the inability to say “Yes” or “No.” The inability to take a stand.

I was at one of the Boston area’s larger malls yesterday afternoon.It was *mobbed*...but no trouble that *I* saw or heard of.

From before Thanksgiving until mid January we just stay away from that whole stretch of Shelbyville Road. Too crowded. Which is frustrating because Trader Joe’s is just a 1/2 mile down the road & my wife gets all her wine there.
The article describes St. Matthews as a suburb of Louisville. It really isn’t a suburb if you know the geography of Louisville, technically maybe because of legal lines. But for all practical purposes it’s part of Louisville.
