Winston Churchill wrote a book entitled “The River War: An Historical Account Of The Reconquest Of The Soudan†(1899). Churchill served in the British Army during this action, and his observations regarding Islam are interesting:
How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.
A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities.
Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die: but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith.
It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.

I would say that someone gave Carson this speech and Carson put out his mad dog speech with hopes to quote Churchhill...but then he would be accused of being a copycat....again.

About every hundred years, Islam needs to be reminded that the West has overwhelming military power and that Christianity can defend itself. Thiws is opposite of everything the Koran teaches, so they slump back into introspection, coming up with numerous excuses and mystic explanations about how bad leaders betrayed them, were not “Islamic” enough, or what the meaning of “is” is.
It happened about 1800 -1830 as Western Countries became tired of their piracy and slave taking; then again about 1900-1920, with the River War and the end to the Ottoman Empire that chose the wrong side in WWI. Now we are in the third rising of fanatical Islam since 1800.
THe question is: does the West have sufficient faith in itself to use the power that it has?
This statement about Islam is why Obunghole shipped the bust of Churchill back to the U.K.

Must be why 0bama sent back the Churchill bust from the WH. Churchill criticized the prophet of islam. But he told the truth so it was not slander.

Modern Western civilization is welcoming islam in while it pushes Christianity out and then ignores its and His knocking at their door to be let back in.
Their new utopia doesn't believe in religion and islam doesn't believe in their new utopia, so this will only be interesting to watch as it grows smaller in the rear view mirror.
