Jeb Bush came at Donald Trump with everything he had, turning in his strongest debate performance to date just as much of the party was threatening to tune out his flagging candidacy entirely. He dismissed Trump as a “chaos candidate” who would amount to a “chaos president,” said the billionaire had “crazy” ideas about foreign policy and suggested Trump learned about foreign affairs from the Saturday morning cartoons.

Prior to the debate, senior Bush aides began looking into the possibility of making a clear break with Trump – potentially with the candidate stating that, if Trump were the nominee, Bush would not support him.

The fact that he and his campaign are thinking about this makes them traitors. My money is he won't push the button because that would spell the end of The Duke of Austin's, the scion Jorge P Bush, political career.

Here is what I saw:

Appeared to go up on tippy toes as the camera panned the candidates at the end of the National Anthem. Could not see feet but the strained tippy posture was present.

Used the same line “can’t insult your way...” twice, second time fell flat.

Would not offer any solutions on how to combat ISIS on American soil today.

Audience was salted in Jeb’s favor.

Flubbed his closing statement.

When he shook hands with Trump after the debate, Trump jerked him close with some force and said something. Would love to know what that was.
