Saudis unveil huge anti–ISIS coalition [Daniel 11]

Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday the creation of a massive anti-ISIS terror fighting intiative that joins together 34 nations. Among the nations that have united, Reuters reported: "Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan and several Gulf Arab and African states. "The countries here mentioned have decided on the formation of a military alliance led by Saudi Arabia to fight terrorism, with a joint operations center based in Riyadh to coordinate and support military operations," said a statement reported by the state news agency SPA. The countries that united to fight ISIS said in the joint statement they had a "duty to protect the Islamic nation from the evils of all terrorist groups and organizations, whatever their sect and name, which wreak death and corruption on Earth and aim to terrorize the innocent."

Iran, home to predominantly Shiite Muslims – in contrast to Saudi’s Sunni Muslim population – didn’t join the partnership. Crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, who also serves as the defense minister, said in a press conference that efforts would “coordinate” counterterrorism battles in Iraq, Libya, Egypt and Afghanistan. “There will be international coordination with major powers and international organizations … in terms of operations of Syria and Iraq,” he said, Reuters reported. “We can’t undertake these operations without coordinating with legitimacy in this place and the international community...”

This is speculation, but for students of Bible prophesy the world may be witnessing is the rise of a southern confederacy of nations as predicted by the Bible Prophet Daniel. This confederacy, similar to an Islamic NATO, may route all opposition in Iraq and Syria and rebuilt a Babylon in Iraq to rival Jedda and Dubai (Zechariah 5, Isaiah 13-14, Jeremiah 50-51). The prophet Daniel goes on to say in Daniel 11 that this confederacy will become embroiled in a world-wide conflict between it and a Euro-led Confederacy (possibly NATO) for the first 3.5 years of the tribulation period (the last 7 years of this current age before Jesus Christ comes back to rule and reign from Jerusalem). Daniel 11 also reveals that the two powers seem to divide world's loyalties (like a modern Molotov-Ribbentrop pact) with the pact being broken and all out war ensuing with the Euro-led Confederacy victorious...(more to come later)

Daniel 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind , with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. 41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy , and utterly to make away many. 45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him...

The Saudis helped to create the mess of ISIS as a proxy to fight Assad and hurt Iran.

I guess they have to step in to at least appear to be cleaning up the mess but it was ideology from their country along with many Saudi citizens and or residents (Tashfeen Malik) that has always fueled the terrorism in our world from 9/11 on down the line.

When does that change or does it ever change?

The Saudis want an army to enter Syria and hang Assad.

The Saudis love and fund ISIS.

It’s mainly a US, Saudi, Turkey alliance to get rid of Assad and wound Russia at the same time.

Putin is not amused. And he has control of the airspace over Syria now that his S-400 systems are in place. Any plane that flies there does so at Russian sufferance. Play games and he will announce a no-fly zone over all of Syria.

Has the archduke been shot yet?

This is all show and no go. They haven’t flown a mission in months. Why would they bomb themselves. They are supporting Isis directly every day! Osanma Bin Laden was from the royal family— fully supported.

“When does that change or does it ever change?”

From Wiki:

Islam is the state religion of Saudi Arabia The connection between Islam and Saudi Arabia (or at least the western Hejaz region of the country) is uniquely strong. The kingdom, which sometimes is called the “home of Islam”,[1] is the location of the cities of Mecca and Medina, where Muhammad, the messenger of the Islamic faith, lived and died, and attracts millions of Muslim Hajj pilgrims annually, and thousands of clerics and students who come from across the Muslim world to study. The official title of the King of Saudi Arabia is “Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques”—the two being Al-Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Al-Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina, who are considered the holiest in Islam.[2]

The King is unable to change any part of Islam. If he does he will be killed by any faithful who can do so. The king’s job is to keep Islam in its pure and unaltered state as set by Mohamed. In answer to your question, nothing will change.

No doubt thanks to the District Of Corruption policy the world stage is being set for another war.

I hope when it comes we are under different leadership. If not, we are so screwed.

Have you been following the war in Yemen?

Another “civil war” that is a US backed “Yemen spring” proxy war to get the Saudis to unseat the Govt of Yemen and replace it with a sunni govt to balance shia Iran.

Yes the Saudis are bombing as are other members of their “coalition”, notably Qatar.

another brilliant policy move by Obama, whose personally directed drone strikes have killed thousands and fueled the rise of ISIS in Yemen to replace al Qaeda! And the Saudis who are the proxies?

Losing. btw, Yemen has asked Russian for military support.

Certainly not as a horse. Imposing the “visions” of Bronze Age people onto the geopolitics of the 21st century is no different than believing that seriously ill patients are afflicted by demons. It’s all fairy tale.
