The September Hajj stampede killed at least 2,411 pilgrims, a new count shows, three times the number of deaths acknowledged by Saudi Arabia.
The figures establish the crush on September 24 as the deadliest in the history of the annual pilgrimage.
Saudi's official death toll of 769 people has not changed since September 26, and officials have yet to address the discrepancy.
The kingdom rebuffed criticism from its regional rival Iran and efforts by other countries to join a probe into the deaths.
Saudi's King Salman ordered an investigation into the tragedy almost immediately, yet few details have been made public since and hundreds of pilgrims remain missing.

This was not the first time there have been stampedes and deaths at the Hajj. You have to wonder, what is up with that religion, or adherents of that religion, to cause deaths at an event which is supposed to be a profession of one’s deep faith in that religion????
Are there stampedes at the Vatican when the faithful visit? Stampedes in Jerusalem when visitors go to holy sites there???

Ya, you got a good point. Does the whole Hajj thing put people in a trance, so they don’t know or care what they are doing? Literally walk over people in front of you? No problem, because they are like robots or zombies, no feelings or awareness of things around them.
And yet, there’s no condemnation of the Saudis for allowing this to happen, through sheer negligence.
They still go on today about “Justice for the 96” after what happened at Hillsborough back in 1989.
But every year there is a “Hillsborough times 100” and the sound of crickets.

Their cult requires them to make at least one pilgrimage in their lifetime there. For a lot of them, they have been waiting a lifetime to see “it” something and to hear the hypnosis.....I’d imagine the stampedes are because most of them are afraid they will miss out on the “up close and personal” demonic rituals.
A little known fact about Islam is that they are the original white supremacists. The Sunni and Wahhabist Arabs consider themselves at the top of the food chain and are incensed when inferiors such as Malaysians, Indonesians, Shiites and the like refuse to yield for them.
Just one more reason these crowds keep moving when there is an obvious problem with people being trampled underneath.
