This is a tried and true tactic used by leftist agitators everywhere.

They actually have a name for this method. Something like "Call out, repeat", IIRC. It's not designed to change minds but to consolidate supporters to their cause and make them feel part of an accepted group.

For 0bama to use celebrities and this tactic is nothing new.

The fact that "they" apparently think it is an effective tactic says a lot about the them and who they believe they can reach with this message.
