I am amazed that Mr. Ali is still alive at all, considering he has health issues, because he has been quiet all these years.
That's rich. Cassius Clay became Muhammad Ali in order to dodge the draft. He refused to go to Vietnam on "religious principles".

I doubt this originated from Ali. According to reports he is only able to gesture and grunt to make his needs known. His family might have written it and asked him if it was OK, but I seriously doubt he had much to do with it.

BTW....as a former fan of queensbury rules pugilism, Clay/Ali was ‘The Greatest’ in his prime. Today it’s all this fighting challenge with kicking like girls BS.

Agreed, I met him in his home about 5 years ago and he mostly grunted and used gestures then. Parkinson’s had really taken over his body and he could barely walk then. This came from a spokesperson or a group associated with him. Also, I did not see any evidence in his home that he or anyone else in his family were Muslim.
I was present in the San Diego Arena when Ken Norton defeated Clay/Ali. Norton broke his jaw, Ali said. Norton’s gone. Ali almost.
