We know the only thing that kept Dole in office in the first place was that he was a WWII hero, or so they say. The man was a loser.
I held my nose and still Dole stunk too much for me to vote for him.
The whole damned bunch should move to Maine. That’s where their kind are happiest.
Too bad Bob ‘All The Charisma of a Mashed Potato Sandwich’ Dole couldn’t put aside his pride and seek out the help of Donald Trump, who has been one of the strongest supporters of our veterans since 1995.
What’s new, Dole has been asleep for decades, beginning with his last debate..
I firmly believe that’s OUR collective fault and it speaks directly to what I harp on. No matter what/lesser evil voting. We are victims only in as much as we victimized ourselves.
They KNOW we will vote for them ‘no matter what’ because we prove it every 2 years. Many STILL post that drivel daily while ALSO demanding conservative government.
Every 2 years they adopt increasingly leftist positions and...they get out votes.

The above is all unarguable fact. We DO vote for them no matter what leftism, what lies, what anything they do. I don’t blame a hot stove for burning a hand. I don’t blame a flagpole for freezing a kid’s tongue to it in winter. I don’t blame a scorpion for stinging the frog or the rattler for biting the whackjob snake handling ‘preacher’.
I dont blame anything for being what it is. I might not like or agree with it but I don’t blame it. The GOP is leftist today because conservatives flushed their integrity, their responsibility to their country and the truth to MAKE it what it is. It is wholly our creation. WE put liberals into the GOP. Obama and Hillary and Clinton and Carter and whatever Democrat that is the greatest evil EVER!!! this week did not go into that booth and vote for a leftist repub election year after election year. WE did that. And now we have a mad because we don’t like the consequences of our actions.
Until WE change course, I see no reason we should expect the GOP to.
I am so deeply ashamed that I ever voted for him for President. I put him in the same class now as McCain and Romney. My record isn’t very good it seems. It won’t happen like that again. Go Trump, Go Cruz.
We all learn that lesson eventually. I voted for McCain to get Palin. I got neither and advanced liberalism. I feel your shame.
Bob Dolt, Ford’s running mate in 76 was so crass he helped propel Jimmah Cather into the presidency. He, dolt was a bitter old fart back then.
I, a young grad student, watched Reagan’s speech at the 76 convention and marveled, the repubs have nominated the wrong man!
As my mother was fond of pointing out, a conservative has no fiercer enemies than “fellow” Republicans.

Notice how the REPUB losers (McCain - and his sidekick Graham, Dole, Romney)are the first to venomously criticize conservative leaders and the last to say anything against Obama or his policies. Uniparty guys the media can use to hammer conservatives. They are built to lose....ala the Washington Generals.
