I'm guessing this local official has expressed sympathy for the State Governors who have told the Federal government they won't accept 'refugees' in their states, huh?
No news was obscured; Trump is a loud mouth but far from an idiot; is not a klintoon supporter, and the policy is not unconstitutional.
For almost 40 years the USA had a total ban on ALL immigrants, so tell me how it is unconstitutional to close our borders to anyone we so choose?
There is currently a religious test in place for refugees {is that also unconstitutional?}
The Trump fans in St. Petersburg should march on city hall and hang effigies of his dishonor and in general make a lot of noise, but clean up your mess before leaving.

His position is that the ban should last until we figure out how to successfully vet those who would come here.

How is it unconstitutional to bar and enemy from invading your country that wants to destroy the Constitution, enslave your daughters and kill you if you do not convert?
It is not unconstitutional for America to protect its freedoms from islam.....the only killing religion the West has not wiped out. There is no where in the Constitution that demands we let a single perosn into this country....especially the enemy.
