ew York Times columnist Paul Krugman produced another doozy of column on Friday in which he warns that climate change will result in armaggedon and it will be fault of those dastardly Republicans.
The opening paragraph of Krugman's column predicts, "Future historians â if there are any future historians â will almost surely say that the most important thing happening in the world during December 2015 was the climate talks in Paris. True, nothing agreed to in Paris will be enough, by itself, to solve the problem of global warming. But the talks could mark a turning point, the beginning of the kind of international action needed to avert catastrophe."
Krugman then warns his readers that "we may be doomed. And if we are, you know who will be responsible: the Republican Party."
The former Enron adviser spends the rest of his column dismissing the Republicans' climate change skepticism as "conspiracy theories" without delving into any actual facts or data. He concludes his column by saying, "Iâd urge everyone outside the climate-denial bubble to frankly acknowledge the awesome, terrifying reality. Weâre looking at a party that has turned its back on science at a time when doing so puts the very future of civilization at risk. Thatâs the truth, and it needs to be faced head-on."
Krugman's apocalyptic column reflects the over-the-top rhetoric used by global warming alarmists. President Barack Obama in his remarks at the Paris climate conference warned of "Submerged countries. Abandoned cities. Fields that no longer grow. Political disruptions that trigger new conflict, and even more floods of desperate peoples seeking the sanctuary of nations not their own."
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) declared in the CNN Democratic presidential primary debate that climate change would kill everyone, which scientists told The Daily Wire is a false statement.
Radio host and constitutional scholar Mark Levin's Liberty and Tyranny cites a list from Dr. John Brignell, retired professor from University of South Hampton, of a massive list of absurd claims that climate change have caused or will supposedly cause. These include:
Chocolate shortage Cholera Coral reefs shrinking... and also somehow growing Crocodile sex Oyster herpes Loch Ness Monster's death Spiders invading Scotland Ancient diseases being unleashed from melting ice Invasion of alien worms UFO sightings
The full list can be seen here.
The over-the-top fear-mongering of Krugman and other climate change alarmists is exactly what Bjorn Lomborg, president of the Copenhagen Consensus Centre, condemned as unhelpful in actually moving the conversation forward. Apparently The New York Times and the rest of the Leftist propaganda machine doesn't agree.
What a f’n moron. He gave the commencement speech when I got my masters. What a complete disappointment. Human wastewater.

“The planet has a FEE-ver,” Almost President Gore.
That headline made me laugh out loud!
Good one, Krugman.
The climate has changed a lot in 100,000 years and we’re still here.
More cowbell.
"Future historians -- if there are any future historians -- will almost surely say that the most important thing happening in the world during December 2015 was the climate talks in Paris."What a moron. The only reason historians (to which category he doesn't belong, and has no competence to analyze) might not be around in the future is that Islamofascist mass-murderers will kill them off. If they win, it'll be the fault of Paul Krugman and the zombies who believe what he swills out.

Moron
Like he wasn’t going to go to his grave hating Republicans anyway.
But there won’t be anybody to say “nyah nyah.” That’s the good part.
Lighten up Paulie. We can all get together and beat up the wascally Wepublicans for what they did in the next life. You’re an idiot.
I was wishing this was twitter for a moment, that way I could use the same word you alluded to. :-) But yeah.......
If you are so sure it will happen, name a date and we will execute you for yelling fire in a theater when it doesn’t happen.
We’re worried about things that won’t kill us and we’re indifferent about things that will kill us.
Its all a matter of priorities.
Amazing how many liberals are “atheists”, yet there’s more evidence of God than there is global warming.

Hey paulie. If you really want to help, you can always volunteer to go early and take your asshat friends with you. You’ll be helping save the erf.
Only fools think us puny humans can change the climate. It’s bigger than all of us together and we don’t understand it. All it is is a control scheme and a way for leftists to make MO ey off the backs of fools and citizens who are sometimes one and the same.
He will be proven right in five billion years when the sun becomes a red giant and engulfs the earth in fire.
