On Israel, no daylight between Trump and Obama
American Thinker ^ | December 4, 2015 | Lev Tsitrin

A few months ago, overhearing some ladies in the audience of a pro-Israel lecture trash Donald Trump, and clearly sensing that they were Obama fans, I turned to them and said, "At least he will be a huge improvement over the current inhabitant of the White House." They were greatly displeased.

But after reading this account of Mr. Trump's views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, I think I owe those ladies an apology.

It turns out, after all, that Mr. Trump's views on the Middle East conflict are a carbon copy of Mr. Obama's. For one, Mr. Trump believes that it is up to Israel to make peace happen. He is apparently unaware of Palestinians' outright rejection of Israel's existence as a Jewish state. Secondly, Mr. Trump believes that solving the conflict is a central challenge, and so he promises to jump on it right at the onset of his presidency - as did Mr. Obama, having thought it was the key sore point that ruins the world's universal happiness.

This account doesn't match w/ any FR search w/ key words "Trump" and "Israel" that shows Trump pro-Israel. Another problem is that the AP link won't show the video to let us see Trumps actual words. Smell test anyone?

There is an article on Breitbart, Trump’s grade at Jewish get together yesterday was a C. He was booed during his speech.

Never listen to what the Leftist clown media say a Conservative or Republican said. Always look at the REAL statement.

What Trump actually said is that Israel would have to give up things for a deal. If Israel was UNWILLING to make those scarifies he would be fine with that.

What Trump said is he would basically stand the last 30 year of US-Israel relations on it head. Trump is saying he will end the current process of DC pressuring Israel to make deals Israel does not want.

Hmmm.   Trump:  "...the onus for the lack of peace lies on the Jewish state, not the Palestinian Authority.."  There are things I like about Trump but this ain't one of 'em.

Trump does not believe in force feeding peace talks. I tend to agree. The only way to achieve peace between Israel and the Palestinians is for Israel to kill all the opposing terrorists....Hamas, Hezb...et.al.

“Mr. Trump believes that it is up to Israel to make peace happen.”

I agree. The world needs to get out of the way and let
Israel take care of it. Whats the problem with that?

Ignore everything, watch and listen to the speech. Then you’ll understand.

We’ll see if Bibi can return the favor to Obama and come out in support of Trump.

Trump was booed when he would not commit to Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel. Not good.

Trump delivered a great speech to the Jewish Republicans yesterday which didn't pander to the audience and made no bones about signaling he wasn't for sale like so many of his competitors. He was clearly at ease with the audience, cracking jokes and even stopping at one point to recognize an old friend.

Yeah he got booed briefly...by one rude person who Trump proceeded to single out for negative attention. He also got an ovation when he finished. But don't take my word for it or Breitbart's either. Watch the speech and decide for yourself.

Trump never ever said he was going to force peace talks. Not ever. He said very clearly that if there was anything Israel did not like in the process they had every right to walk away.

These Jews are shilling for Hillary.
