I’ve been convinced for a long time that the global warming issue is a religion. There are believers and non-believers and they both have their arguments. They try to use science to justify their positions. But basically, they believe no matter what evidence is presented. For example, a basic scientific fact is that the poles on Mars have been melting over the last decades, coinciding with that of Earth. There is NO man-made carbon on Mars so the believers in global warming must answer the question, is this just a coincidence or is it possible that the sun is influencing things on Mars and Earth in a similar fashion? Believers ignore this question and keep believing in their models which are invariably wrong because they don’t even predict accurately the history of temperatures.

The governments, plural, are involved because they are the progenitors of Global Ice Age cum Global Warming cum Climate Change which isn't science or religion it's a con game for cash and population control. One of the biggest cons ever played.

Because it is the goose that laid a trillion golden eggs- that’s why- Global warming taxes and fines etc WILL BE a never ending theft of our hard earned money- once we enact climate change regulations, they will ALWAYS say “We’re almost there folks, but we still need to do our part- just a little while longer- and then after a few years “Scientists state that we’re in danger of more warming if we don’t act now”
It’s a COLLOSAL theft of our money- that is why government is for it
Back in 1970s they called it Global Cooling.
Then on Coast to Coast one new year’s eve, they did their usual show about predictions in the near future. Callers, who had ESP, supposedly, talked of global warming, and ice caps melting, and US flooding. This was in the 1990s to early 2000s. I told my daughter, laughingly, don’t bother to graduate from high school... she grad in 2001... the US will be under water by then. It was all a big joke, Coast to Coast callers all trying to outdo each other. I assume Al Gore heard this show and thought it was true! LOL That is where it all started.
We have lived in this area for 42 years and our weather patterns are the same now as in 1973...
I have read 34 books about climate and climate change, etc.
I have read both sides. I still believe it to be a HOAX.

Robert- their side does NOT have an argument- the FACT is that man produces so little CO2 that we will NEVER be able affect the climate one iota-
To put it in perspective- The CO2 produced by man makes up just 0.0036$ of our atmosphere- that’s it. We couldn’t affect the climate if we doubled our production 1000 times
To get a visual of just how little CO2 man produces- take an 8x11 sheet of paper- take a pencil, drop the point on the paper 4 times- and notice how small they are compared to the whole sheet of paper- and that sir is the equivalent for how much CO2 is in our atmosphere due to man
The other nail in the coffin for the alarmists is that CO2 only rises 800 years AFTER temperatures rise- so CO2 can not possibly be the cause of climate change- This is an established FACT- Ice core samples show that CO2 rises never ever proceeds rising temperatures
Case closed-

People who want more government power and control *want* to believe in things that validate their belief.
They *want* to believe in global warming.
I told one, once that the science was bad. He said “It does not really matter, only good comes from it.”
In all those books- did they ever once mention what % of CO2 is in the atmosphere due to man? If not- guess why? Because to show how little man produces would put the lie to scam
the % of atmospheric COP2 produced by nature is just 0.04%
Man produces just 3.4% of that 0.04%
That mean man’s contribution of CO2 to the atmosphere amounts to just 0.0036% of the atmosphere
Did any of those books you read explain to you how just 0.0036% of our atmosphere could possibly capture, and then back radiate enough heat to change climates?
Think about it- 99.9864% of the atmosphere has no CO2 in it due to man- There is simply not enough CO2 in the atmosphere to capture the earth’s rising heat- let alone back radiate that heat at a fraction of what was captured-
Funny, I have thought about this lately and I think I have it figured out (as best as I can!)
There is a force bound, bent and determined to control everyone in the world. I believe this is what “progressives” are progressing toward. Controllers think they know more and should have power over everyone. They don’t believe people are smart enough to live in freedom and they HATE it when they can’t tell everyone what they should be doing. Naturally, these controllers despise the Judeo Christian nations (or what used to be) and seek to destroy them.
They can’t stand that some nations prosper and thrive, while other nations do poorly. IT’S NOT FAIR - the mantra of every child, is what they think. Basically, the same concept of wealth redistribution so that the people who have more are forced to pay for those who don’t have (even though those who don’t have may very well have brought on their own circumstances), only globally.
Destroying “the west” is vital to world control. Thus the open borders advocates, and the invasion of Europe and America by “refugees”. We have been witnessing before our eyes the destruction of our once Judeo Christian nations, sovereign, unified, blessed.
The whole environmental scam is about gaining control. After all, the environment is everywhere - the air goes all over the world, as does water. Controlling the environment allows the powers that be to tell nations what they can and cannot do - on a global scale. It transfers power, bit by bit, from sovereign nations to a one-world body of power.
Those are my thoughts - sorry for rambling on!

I remember when Nancy Lieder was a guest on that show, telling Noory that Nibiru would fly past Earth in 2003 and flip it on its axis. We would all see it as a big red planet. George said if her prediction failed, she would never be on his show again. Her prediction of course failed, and six months later she was back on his show, saying it would “really” happen in 2012. Noory always has fakers on his show, and I don’t know what Art Bell saw in him. But Art Bell himself is a bit of a crack pot too.

I agree with you and I’ve been saying this for awhile now- not sure your religious beliefs, but I believe climate change will be the vehicle through which a one world government hammers the world’s population into submission because they will use it to drive prices so high on everything, fuel, electricity, water, food clothing etc, that most people will be forced to go on government welfare- and then will come the mark of the beast- either take the mark, or go without food, electricity, fuel etc
The bible talks about a ‘powerful delusion’ that will befall the world I n the end times. A Delusion so powerful that the majority of people will fall for it even though it will be their downfall- they will embrace it blindly and without question
What more powerful delusion is there than the LIE of ‘man-caused’ climate change? The whole world has bought into this lie- It’s absolutely bizarre how so few people even bother to look into the FACTS of global warming, and simply just take the government’s word for it that we’re causing it
People will be so desperate for fuel, heating during the winters, electricity, etc that they will have little choice but to accept the mark if they want to feed their starving/freezing families-
It is my belief that climate change mandates might just be what a one world government will use to force people into compliance
We are also seeing a world take shape where lies are truth now, and truth and morality are under attack- all over the world- especially here where our president has gone out of his way to attack Christians and conservatives- -
