You shouldn't trust Rubio.

Senator Marco Rubio is running for president but he doesn't want you to know about his past views on guns.

Take a note at this research on him opposing lawful gun owning.

Rubio Favored Restrictions On Florida Gun Owners

In His 2000 State House Race, Rubio Supported Waiting Periods On Gun Purchases. "'Background checks are necessary and the sale of guns at shows should be limited,' Garcia said. 'Furthermore, safety locks should be required. I am also against honoring the concealed weapons permits of other states in our state.' Rubio supports 'reasonable restrictions' including background checks and waiting periods. 'However, I believe we should spend more time focusing on why people, especially children, are committing acts of violence,' he said." (Ivette M. Yee, "House District 111 Voters To Choose Rep On Tuesday," The Miami Herald, 1/20/00)

The NRA Criticized Rubio's Record On Guns As Florida's Speaker Of The House

The NRA Targeted Rubio For Working Behind The Scenes As An "Obstacle" On A 2008 Bill Allowing Employees To Keep A Firearm In Their Vehicles At Work. "When it comes to Second Amendment gun rights, storied National Rifle Association lobbyist Marion Hammer accused Rubio of working against the group on one of the most important priorities of her career. 'Speaker Rubio talked the talk but didn't walk the walk,' said Hammer, the NRA's first female president and a 35 year Tallahassee veteran. She's referring to his time spent tweaking 2008 legislation designed to allow employees to keep a firearm inside their vehicle at work. It's an issue that pitted gun rights activists against the business community, some of whom felt obliged to comply with federal laws requiring employers to provide a safe workplace. The Florida Legislature approved the legislation, and Crist signed it into law, but Hammer said Rubio proved to be a major obstacle behind the scenes." (David Catanese, "Rubio Foes Nail Him For Makeover," Politico, 3/12/10)

*The NRA Claimed Rubio's Actions "Behind The Scenes" Were "An Entirely Different Story" Than His Ultimate Vote On The Bill, Calling Them "Not Pretty." "'He voted when the gun bill was brought to the vote, but we know that what goes on behind the scenes is an entirely different story,' Hammer said. She said the NRA ratings, a big deal in the Republican primary , are based not just on how politicians vote, but on the totality of what they do or appear to do. 'We watch everything: false claims, lips service, what a member tells other people,' said Hammer adding that, with Rubio 'it's not pretty, we take our issue very seriously.'" (Marc Caputo, "Marco Rubio's Gun Problem," The Miami Herald, 11/16/09)

Former NRA President Marion Hammer On Rubio's Actions: "He Has Not Been A Friend To Gun Owners. He Tried To Cover Himself By Voting For It After Doing Everything He Could To Work Against It. He Plays To An Audience." "Rubio's campaign points out that its candidate was able to thread the needle on the controversial issue of guns at the workplace and that Hammer heaped praised on the bill after the bill signing. While the NRA accepted the deal, Hammer said its disappointment will become more apparent when her group issues its 2010 legislative grades this spring. Rubio has boasted an 'A' rating from the NRA, but that is expected to drop. 'He has not been a friend to gun owners. He tried to cover himself by voting for it after doing everything he could to work against it. He plays to an audience. We will make sure our members know,' she said." (David Catanese, "Rubio Foes Nail Him For Makeover," Politico, 3/12/10)

Hammer On Rubio: "He Was A Big Disappointment To Us When He Was The Speaker. He Talked The Talk, But He Didn't Walk The Walk." "'He was a big disappointment to us when he was the speaker,' said NRA lobbyist Marion Hammer, who saw Rubio do little to help pass a bill allowing employees to bring guns to work. 'He talked the talk, but he didn't walk the walk.'"(Adam C. Smith and Alex Leary, "Rubio Record Diverges From Campaign Rhetoric,"

My name is Marco, I live on the second floor.

Marco is over his head. He’s been thrust into accepting a nomination he never really wanted or thought himself capable of accpeting. That’s why GOPe is panicing.

Marco is small in intellectual stature and it wouldn’t surprise me after seeing him confounded by the attention - slip away. He should.

He’s incapable of leading an elementary school let alone a nation. He overshot the Peter Pricipal and is burning up in front of our eyes. Rubio will be remembered as... no wait... he won’t be remembered.

Ditto. He's done with this development unless he runs as a Democrat.

Marco will change to being the Democratic nominee once Hillary fades.

It has been in the card for awhile.

The Dems cannot resist a Hispanic, slick-talking, amnesty-loving Pretty Boy.

But many in the media are pushing for Marco Rubio, a lightweight whose resume shows nothing of relevance and who has trouble handling his own personal finances.

Exactly Cruz or Trump, or both. Anything less is unacceptable. Can you imagine the heads exploding over a Cruz/Trump Trump/Cruz ticket.

I don’t see why he has any following at this late date. Just another imposter.

This article is Marco Rubio. He’s is a lying backstabbing stealth lib. He purposely hides his tracks. When he was Speaker of the Florida House, many conservative bills were never allowed to come up for votes. Rubio having to deal with those bills would have shone the light on the fact that he’s a liberal. So he spent his time undercutting conservatives in ways not easily detected. It had always bothered me that a state like Florida with republican majorities in every political position in the state, could never seem to pass a conservative immigration bill. The lying snake Rubio was wheeling and dealing death to anything conservative.

Now he is pretending to be a conservative and the unwary, deceivers of and self deceived conservatives fall for his baloney. I will once again warn anyone that Florida grows some pretty large RINOs. They are all dangerous because each one feels entitled to the presidency and they brazenly put their plans in motion. Rubio is one of the biggest liars of the lot. No conservative should ever fall for him.

In one issue after another, after another, Rubio deceives voters with his silver-tongued oratory to get elected and then conspires behind the scenes with our worst political enemies to oppose conservatives. This guy positively reeks with the stench of betrayal.

his support for common core
his support for amnesty
his support for illegals still coming to America
His lying past about supporting or NOT supporting these and other issues make him a NO GO.

Be great, but somehow I dont see Trump agreeing to be VP.

My first choice is Cruz as Prez, but would settle for him as VP behind Trump.

Cruz would be the real deal

There’s always some stubborn people who won’t admit they were wrong about a candidate-no even to themselves.
