Mayor de Blasio Says NYC Will Welcome Refugees

Mayor de Blasio says New York City will not turn away any refugees fleeing Syria.

De Blasio said Tuesday that New York "is a proud immigrant city" and would welcome refugees trying to escape the conflict in their homeland.

Many public officials and U.S. presidential candidates have expressed wariness at admitting refugees in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris last week.

De Blasio chided a pair of local Republicans running for president. He called New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie "an embarrassment to this country" and said that the city "will adhere to the words of our Founding Fathers, not Donald Trump."

These mayors are getting some sort of compensation for taking in these “refugees” and they are not about to pass up the money. The cash is more important than the safety of the citizens.

One attack and this guy should be publicly executed for treason (preferably piano wire). The public needs to hold politicians accountable for betraying the safety of the country...

And what will he say if the same outrage happens and they find out it was from those refuges?

DeBlahZero should keep an open doors policy at his own residence. Anybody who wants to walk in should be able to do so freely. No barriers ay Wilhelm?

Like most liberals, one of the first thing de Blasio did when he moved into Gracie Mansion and had people looking in from the street was to put up a bigger privacy wall.

it looks like this is a battle to get FULL funding from polly ryan for 2016 immigration/”refugees”. The commies want hundreds of thousand new voters by november and the $1.3 Billion funding could turn the election.

Someone needs to remind him of the “homelessness” crisis NYC already has. And tell the locals that the people complaining about the lack of affordable housing can’t say that anymore, if they have room for a couple thousand refugees.

It looks like the big state Dems are falling into line in welcoming the Syrian refugees with open arms. Today it was Comrade de Blasio in NYC and yesterday Governor Moonbeam out in California. I guess Senator DiFi didn’t get the memo when she criticized all of this.

Didn't New Yawk vote 85% for The Kenyan in 2012 and elect De Blowsio in a landslide?

So why should we mind if ISIS takes out the city? It will just be Muslims blowing up Communists and idiots. Who cares?

If they get beyond the city limits, maybe give us a call and we'll maybe care.
