Netanyahu Says Radical Islam Spurred Paris Attacks: ‘The Time Has Come for the World to Wake Up’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that it was time for the "world to wake up" and come together to fight terrorism which he asserted is fueled by "radical Islam." "In Israel, as in France, terrorism is terrorism and standing behind it is radical Islam and its desire to destroy its victims. The time has come for the world to wake up and unite in order to defeat terrorism," Netanyahu said at his weekly cabinet meeting, where he also described the attacks as "vicious." On Saturday, he likened the West's fight against radical Islamic terrorism to a civilizational battle against a "plague."

The Israeli leader said, "Militant Islamic terrorism attacks our societies because it wants to destroy our civilization and our values." 'I call on the entire civilized world to unite to defeat the plague of worldwide terrorism. … It's only with this moral clarity that the forces of civilization will defeat the savagery of terrorism," Netanyahu said. Comparing the Paris attacks to Palestinian terrorism against Israel, Netanyahu told his cabinet ministers on Sunday, "The time has come for countries to condemn terrorism against us to the same degree that they condemn terrorism everywhere else in the world."

"We should remember – we are not to blame for the terrorism directed against us, just as the French are not to blame for the terrorism directed against them. It is the terrorists who are to blame for terrorism, not the territories, not the settlements and not any other thing," Netanyahu said, adding that they simply "desire to destroy" Israel. Netanyahu blasted Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas who condemned the Paris attacks but has not also condemned attacks against Israelis...

Question to everyone: Can you see God in the Paris attack? Not the false moon god of Arabia that demands Jihad of its adherents, and the destruction of all infidels. No, I am talking about the God of history. The God of Christianity and true Judaism. The God that drew the persecuted Jews back to their homeland from the four corners of the earth. The God that said he would defend Israel so that they would never be destroyed or removed again. The God that brought his people back, even in unbelief, but promises to open their hearts and minds.

I can see God in this attack. France, America, Britain, Germany...you want to force Israel to integrate with Radical Islam? How about you try a dose of it. You want Israel to give up lands, now you are giving up lands to Muslim Al Hijrah. The Bible says this day would come, when all nations of the world would reject Christianity, conservatism, Israel, and God's Word. My prediction? The world will not listen to Netanyahu, for they say HE is part of the problem. Islam will not be blamed, but rather "ISIS" will be blamed. The western world will continue to be forced to restrict all freedoms, including the Bible, in order to not offend "good" Islamic sensibilities.

The only true protection from this madness, this form of "stockholm syndrome", this mental malady is putting your trust in the true and living God of Israel who was peirced for our transgressions (Zech 12, Isaiah 53)

It’s interesting the way socialists approach theological concepts but when it comes to Islam they are not the only ones who refuse to approach the issue. That even includes leading Christian clergy including Pope Francis.

Followers of Mohammed not only claim, but truly believe that God has authorized them to kill those who refuse to submit to their version of God’s will. That is a basic tenet of that religion. A claim which goes unchallanged. While it’s understandable for atheists which most socialists are, not to approach that claim on a theological basis. Because simply eliminatimg those who believe in its execution will not end its practice. Islam must be discredited and condemed.

It’s bewildering why many Christian clergy concerned about “political correctness “ refuse to address what an insult to God it is and worse yet are unable to condem then convince and convert its advocates and adhearants they are followers of an evil creed .

The Koran which was not given to Mohammed by God but by some angel .Demanding enforcement of sharia law which draws heavily from the Torah. It is a pseudo religious concoction using monotheistic selected texts, taken and misconstrued from the old .(bible) and new testaments. Both of which cite the Almighty has granted free will to accept or obey his laws and is the final judge not man. Sodom and Gormora , “Let he who is without sin cast the stone” are outstanding examples from both books. One deals with sin and God’s decision toward a group the other to an individual, neither is left to man.

Yet followers of Mohammed under the severest of penalties are forbidden to read either which would refute that assertion in a creed which institutionalizes disgusting arab tribal views, observances, and customs. Claiming adhearants are authorized by our Creator to demand submission to it or suffer an ignominious death administered by followers of Islam simply because they answer the call to prayer 5 times a day.

All of it is wrong wrong wrong from a theological perspective. All of it is not radical from a criminal perspective. It does not hurt us to acknowledge that. It does hurt us to deny that the potential for a growth in their criminally radical wing seems to be widely present in all sectors. It also will hurt us to deny that it is darn hard to tell the difference between the different wings. They are going to have to start fighting it themselves or risk becoming one of the criminals.

I do not see God in the attack. I see the opposite. We’ve rejected God, God obliges and Satan rushes in to fill the void.

Amen. Pray for Israel. Pray for America. Pray for Europe.

Pray.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

They are going to have to start fighting it themselves or risk becoming one of the criminals.

Who do suggest "they" are? The less radical Muslims? They're only less radical because they're not devout Muslims, not because they are less criminal. What those uneducated in the ways of Islam call radical, is simply their following of ways/teachings by their prophet Mohammed. Read their writings, or better yet a good book on the subject. Perhaps this one:

Your theory of "fighting it themselves or risk becoming one of the criminals" is a nonstarter. The Muslims who are willing to fight are more often devout Muslims (i.e. radicalized). This leaves the "less radical" ones, who aren't willing to fight and not really into Islam, on the sidelines. Any attempt to put them into the game will become self-defeating. That's why it hasn't and never will never. The less radical ones really don't see their more radical brothers as criminals.

The only solution is to treat Islamism like we have Nazism, Fascism, and Communism. This may seem like a hard thing to do. Especially after we've been told all these years Islam is a "religion of peace". Get over that because it's a big lie, only believed by those ignorant of Islam's real goals and history. Our memories have faded since the fall of the Ottoman empire early at the start of the last century (1908-1922), and along with them our knowledge of its evil deeds for centuries.

Islam, after a period of defeat and dissolution following the fall of the Ottoman Empire, is making huge comebacks. Oil rich Islamic nations are spending billions to change public perception and in some cases, rewrite history.

The slaughter, rape, and mayhem in the news today, is the very same Islam other peoples have had to deal with for centuries. Treat it like Nazism which is its closest modern day equivalent, something most people are still able to identify as evil, and in need of eradication.

I refer to people like the sweet muslim lady that works at my local Sam’s Club and wouldn’t hurt a fly. They do exist.

Sure they exist. Sweet ol' Nazi ladies existed too.

Many are still alive today, but have a totally different mindset.

No. The parallel would be with Germans. Nazis were the radicals. As time went on more and more Germans joined them or at least submitted to them. So the parallel would be in making the statement that all Germans were antisemitic murderous radicals. During the reign of the Third Reich it was darn hard to distinguish between them. All Germans from Germany would be considered a national security threat. That did not mean that every last one of them supported the evil around them or that every German worldwide was guilty of the same.

It is not a perfect parallel. I believe all Islam is theologically corrupt, evil and wrong. But all Islam is not criminally radical. Lots and lots of it is and that segment is growing. We need to be honest. Overstating it is just as troublesome as understating it.

I agree with your parallel. It's much more accurate than my simplified version. Where I disagree with you is your suggestion of overstating the dangers of Islam. Imagine if you were in Germany during the rise of Nazism with your current knowledge of its future atrocities. Had someone with that kind of knowledge attempted to inform others of its evil, they most likely would have been accused of overstating too.

Do your own research. I'm only passing on what I've learned of the history and goals of Islam. Maybe you can even prove those of us sounding the alarm, wrong one day. Everything you want to know about Islam is readily available online in graphic detail.
