That is not correct.

And another talking point destroyed.

Thanks FreeReign!

Love Cruz. Born in Canada though.

And how exactly is that important?

So what?

He was referring to those who break laws unrelated to the illegality of those being here and using the usual fake IDs.

Same deal as all the “I’m not for amnesty” pols make.

It’s done unless SCOTUS chooses to hear it, and given the current climate on immigration issues and how little of Obama’s farce is left, plan on them kicking it back. Not to mention, a SCOTUS ruling benefitting Illegals would result in Trump’s poll numbers skyrocketing.

No reason to reinvent the wheel here. The threat of enforcement has historically been enough to get the self deport ball rolling. Plan on that happening the day Trump takes office. Construction on the wall and the national E-Verify rollout will do even more. It’s important to not overwhelm Mexico’s ability to absorb the return of it’s citizens.

And I bet you don't see the blatant hypocrisy of your related hit on Cruz at all, do you?!

Oh Trump has a plan for that: Bring "the good ones" back in, probably millions of them. Conservatives will get a rueful laugh as the Dupes for Donald gnash their teeth, realizing they've been had by a pro:

I play to people's fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That's why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. - Donald Trump, The Art of the Deal, 1987

Oh I imagine the "good ones" won't ever pack a bag.

But as long as you're interested in old quotes...
"I don't want immigration reform to fail. I want immigration reform to pass, and so I would urge people of good faith on both sides of the aisle, if the objective is to pass common sense immigration reform that secures the borders, that improves legal immigration, and that allows those who are here illegally to come in out of the shadows, - Ted Cruz

Don’t forget that if it weren’t for Ted Cruz fighting the Gang of 8 bill, we would already have amnesty.

I believe the House stopped that bill, not the Senate.

Nobody has fought harder for our sovereignty than Ted Cruz, winning landmark cases in the Supreme Court against our own POTUS and the World Court.

You do know that the Supreme Court ruled that politicians can lie when campaigning, right?

Once again, the huge battle in the Senate that Cruz and Sessions led, alerted the public to the Gang of 8 bill. That was really the beginning of Cruz’s working relationship with House Conservatives. Boehner was on board with the cheap labor express until the public outcry and melting the phone lines to Congress applied enough pressure to stop the bill.

Both Rush and Levin credit Cruz with the defeat of the Gang of 8.

The Supreme Court cases are a matter of public record. The real reason GWB doesn’t like Ted Cruz is because Ted whupped him at the Supreme Court.

FreeReign correctly points out the only reference in Trumps Immigration Paper is directed at "criminal aliens".

By definition illegals are criminals, if you are going to get all picky.

Yes, that’s a given. However Trump’s paper mentions those “with criminal convictions”.

You presume too much. I have not selected a candidate to support, but the Donald won't be it. I don't trust him at all. He is an opportunist more than a patriot.

To: Be Careful

If we enforce the laws illegals will leave voluntarily, no need for large police forces that the rats and media will use for propaganda purposes.

Cruz is using principles of Sun Tzu to win a war. Trump screams like a Chimp and throws feces against the wall to make his point.

Trump has flipped flopped more in the last few years, than John Kerry ever did. Shall we repeat all the crazy lib positions Trump has promoted over the years?

A useless conspiracy theory and you know better about the increase in visas. If you do not please educate yourself about Ted Cruz’s fight against the Gang of Eight and proposed immigration legislation in 2013.

Those amendments offered by Cruz, Session, Grassley and Lee were meant to expose the real agenda of the immigration bill. They knew those amendments would not be allowed and would be voted down.

There also have been numerous posts about this foolish tin-foil crap about Heidi Cruz. Do you really want to bring the candidates wives into this? If so there is a magazine cover of Donald Trump’s wife that isn’t very first lady like.

There is absolutely no evidence that Heidi Cruz influences Ted’s political beliefs. In fact Ted Cruz has had the same conservative beliefs since high school and they haven’t changed. Can’t say that about all of the candidates now can we.

Cruz has never been friends with the Clintons, donated money to them or changed from dem to repub several times over the years like he was changing socks.

This H1B visa garbage and Heidi Cruz accusations make you look like a fool. Continuing to post it removes all doubt.

Exactly what are you trying to accomplish by hopping on a Cruz thread and spouting this nonsense. Do you really think that Cruz supporters are that stupid to believe this and change their support to Donald Trump? Save yourself the effort.

I presume Trump is the best shot we have. I'd like to think that Cruz's about face on immigration is earnest. And I know that voting for anyone else in the GOP is little different than voting for Hillary.

Both Rush and Levin credit Cruz with the defeat of the Gang of 8.

I listen to Rush every day and I know he likes Cruz but will not endorse him until he wins the primary. Rush and Levin are certainly stoking the fire for him but he did not stop the Amnesty bill. He did speak out publicly for the House to stop it, but the House alone stopped it.

If anyone thinks the defeat of Eric Cantor didn't put the kibosh on amnesty then they are immature thinkers because if he hadn't Boehner would have rammed through the amnesty bill in the lame duck session just like he did the funding of the residents spending spree.

LOL! You Trumpsters are really entertaining my husband and I. We read this stuff and LOAO!

I have been through more than a few election cycles on FR. While we had the annoying Paulbots and the lesser of two evil Romney fans I have never seen this type of unhinged, irrational, cult-like and fanatical hero worship of a candidate before. I take that back. The Obamabots who were fainting in the crowds and promoting Obama as the Hope and Change candidate, the only one who could save the world.

I seriously fear for some of you and your sanity. I am afraid you may, if God forbid Trump doesn’t win, harm yourselves. The depths to which you people will stoop, the lying and spreading of propaganda is unbelievable. Never thought I’d see it on FR.
