An even bigger fear is that a Trump nomination could result in a Trump presidency, thus flipping over the board for the entire money/influence game. A Hillary presidency would just shift the 55/45 money split to 45/55, but the game will go on.

I was on a debate team practice that was going badly and I saunter up to the podium as the next victim. One of the faculty says “oh this a-hole thinks he’s going to straighten things out”.
Comes to mind in connection with the idea that Romney can just walk in late and everyone will say “oh yeah I’ve got to have me some of that”
