She is a liar. No way would the Marines turn away a woman who has a law degree even in 1975. Plus why didn’t she go to any of the other services to see if they would take her?
Boise, Idaho for me. Can't remember the address, but the street was Overland Blvd, and IIRC across from an open space, like a park, or golf course. I just looked on Google Maps, and then street view, and sure enough, that's where I remember it being nearly 30 years ago.
