Louisiana State Police have arrested two police officers who are accused of shooting and killing a 6-year-old boy and wounding his father in Marksville, Louisiana.
Norris Greenhouse Jr. and Derrick Stafford, 32, were arrested by the Louisiana State Police. Both were booked on charges of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder.
"We took some of the body cam footage. I'm not gonna talk about it, but I'm gonna tell you this. It is the most disturbing thing I've seen and I will leave it at that," said Col. Mike Edmonson at a news conference State Police held Friday night.

Doesn't sound real encouraging. So when does it get released?
What the heck!?
He won’t care. Most likely he will pardon his 2 sons.
Of course it will, but in the reverse of what it would be if it were two white cops.
Just watched the news conference. Based on his words and his demeanor regarding the video, this is going to be an extremely brutal video. This is certainly not what law enforcement needs right now.
Investigators say four city marshals were pursuing a vehicle driven by Chris Few in Marksville Tuesday night. It is still not clear what led to the pursuit.
The Avoyelles Parish coroner said Wednesday that he was told Few went down a dead-end road and then put his vehicle in reverse when some of the pursuing officers opened fire, shooting him and his young son who was a passenger in the vehicle.
...
They could have a difficult time convicting them if it appears that the vehicle was being used as a weapon.
if
If the vehicle was being used as a weapon, I’d vote for an acquittal.
The Chief was clearly talking like this was a 100 percent unjustified shoot.
That kid looked like a pit bull!
The kid didn’t have an orange stripe!
He could have charged at the officer!
Officer safety is paramount.
JUSTIFIED!
The Cops may or may not deserve murder charges. I’ll wait for more information.
IF it’s true that the father decided to run from the police while his six year old son was along, then he definitely deserves a horse whipping, at the least!
In my humble opinion....
You seem to be on some kind of perverse jihad to avenge some wrong you saw done to some particular officers, by throwing grenades of any desperate excuses into stories like this.
Two lies would never make a truth, and the word “appears” is ever abusable (as you probably know yourself).
Duhhh, it’s always disturbing to see a child killed. What an incredibly irresponsible statement to give to the news media. The implication taints what is inherently a difficult case for two officers who might not have even seen the child. And even if they had, are they expected to let a bad guy kill them without repercussions?
Lets just be honest here, LE is the strongarm of big government. What should be a respectable profession is being reduced to thuggery.
I must be over the target.
Where’s my picture of aircraft taking flak?
I didn’t this coming. There must be a lot more to the story than what they are letting us know.
Maybe the same thing will happen to certain guilty LEO’s from the 2nd Waco massacre.
When you consider how little respect many people have for -anything-, much less authority, and how they are a divinity unto themselves, the best thing most cops in America could do is quit.
Let the animals fend for themselves against good people and bring back old west justice. After a month of water finding its own level, America would be a better place.
I’ve always thought that if I saw a cop getting overpowered by a bad guy I’d stop and help the cop. But if I got some kind of public recognition for my actions I’d inform the cops that they need to accept that the people aren’t against them. And they need to convince the people that the cops aren’t against them. And pulling people over and bullying them is not the way to do it.
If one cop pulls a person over and is rude and orders the guy around like a Nazi storm trooper, everyone the guy knows is going to know about it. The cops must get the bad guys out of their uniforms.
