Trump pokes fun at Carson's pyramid theory
The Hill ^ | 11/5/15 | Jesse Byrnes

White House hopeful Donald Trump on Thursday poked fun at GOP presidential rival Ben Carson for his theory that the Egyptian pyramids were used to store grain, not serve as tombs for pharaohs.

"I think I'll have to put that into my repertoire when I talk about Ben," the real estate tycoon said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

"That was a strange ... that was a strange deal," Trump added.

BuzzFeed on Wednesday published a video of Carson's 1998 commencement address at Andrews University, which was founded by Sevenths-day Adventists, during which he said he believed the biblical figure Joseph built the pyramids.

"My own personal theory is that Joseph built the pyramids in order to store grain," Carson said during the speech.

No. It's his own theory. And it's dumb because there is mucho information around.

They are constantly finding new chambers. I always thought a honeycomb configuration is the only thing that makes sense.

Honey....I'm going down to Pyramid 3 to get some grain for bread. Back in a bit. Did he ever come back?

To say the Pyramids were built for grain storage is as ignorant as saying they were built by space aliens.

“Trump needs to be very careful if he is now joining the pseudo-intellectuals of the Left in denigrating the opinions attributed to a brain surgeon.”

“attributed”? He either said it or he did not. I suppose there is some kind of documentation.

Being a perfect brain surgeon, if there is one in existence, does not make the surgeon perfect in all areas of life. Or above criticism.

“Donald Trump uses Left Wing smear on Carson.”

-—How is it a smear when Carson is on tape saying this and confirmed today it’s still his belief?

When I vote for a President, the first thing I want to know is his theory on the great pyramids.

No, he’s absolutely wrong. The majority of the bulk of the pyramids is composed of solid rock. There are only very narrow passageways and a few small chambers inside. So they would be just about the worst structures imaginable for storing a high volume good like grain.

Not to mention they were sealed up with tons of solid rock, so if you did store any grain in them, you couldn’t get it out until dynamite was invented!

“No, but who really cares?”

I say yes. It shows his thought process and it is not a positive thing for Carson.

I hadn't seen the light with regard to Carson, but you know what, it's starting to make a certain kind of sense...  well sort of.

Since he's the most qualified to be president, it only stands to reason....

President Carson Cabinet

Department of State, Letitia Johnson, President of General Practitioners of America
Department of Justice, Phil Simpson, Open heart Surgeon at the Mustard Clinic, internationally renown
Department of Treasury, Pyllis Morton, Orthopedic Surgeon, recognized as one of America's best
Department of Defense, Abner Tripleplay, Board Certified Pediatrician, with the largest practice in the United States
Department of Interior, Brenda Obledo, One of the nation's leading Gynecologists
Department of Labor and Commerce, Brian Sung, Head of Men's Studies as James Flopkins

In non-cabinet level jobs

FBI Director: Alfred Bonaventure, Ophthalmic Surgeon
IRS Commissioner: Tina Jackson, Orthodontic Surgeon at Sam Sneed Medical Center (Serving under Phyllis Morton)
UnderSecretary of the Navy: Lloyd Bratwurst, Leading Internist at the Delta Organic Medical Group
UnderSecretary of the Army: Tran Veyoung, Internationally renown Acupuncturist
Press Secretary: Kate Slimstein, Office Manager for Debbie Stilton, Nutritionist

Speaker of the House: Fang gNiong Blek, Surgeon specializing in organ transplants

Senate Majority Leader: Undecided at the moment, Internists, Neurosurgeons, and Hip Replacement Specialists will be considered

This lampoon of Carson was inspired by ASA Vet who has presented a reasoned cabinet proposal for Trump...  LINK

...and WilliamIII for making a post to me that gave me the idea.

None of the people listed are real.

Did Carson actually say that????

If so, the man is nuts!

I apologize to the both of you for not pinging you to this post of mine. I made it a number of other places too.

I had intended to post this to you, and I forgot that one last thing.

At any rate, please take a look if you like. You are both credited for the idea.

Didn’t you know that only Trump gets held to accoutability for what he has said.

Trump didn’t come up with this. He just commented on it.

Among other rebuttals, why would a society go through the trouble of building something as time-consuming and labor intensive as pyramids for grain storage?

He mentioned space aliens in his speech also. Saying some scientists claim space aliens had something to do with the pyramids. He said you don’t need aliens when God is with you.

"That was a strange ... that was a strange deal," Trump added.

The Donald is not prone to understatement. But I guess it is appropriate sometimes.

“Big surprise. Left winger (pretending to be a “conservative”) Donald Trump uses Left Wing smear on Carson.”

Come on. You’ve got to admit what Gentle Ben said is weird at best. Graineries? Pyramids built by Joseph? That’s not in the slightest bit within the realm of believability. It’s strange. What a strange thing to say.

So who was it that said the pyramids were built by Joseph and that they stored grain? Was it is evil alter ego, Dr. Cen Barson?
