Religious Accommodation, or Political Favoritism?
The Patriot Post ^ | November 2, 2015 | Arnold Ahlert

For the Left, however, "discrimination training" is a rather one-sided affair. Christians have certain beliefs with regard to same-sex marriage, yet when it comes to an accommodation for those beliefs Christians must accommodate homosexuals. Thus when Sweet Cakes bakery shop refused to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding, a ceremony owners Aaron and Melissa Klein insisted was a violation of their religious convictions, the Oregon commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries ordered the couple to pay $135,000 in damages for emotional and mental suffering arising from the denial of service. By contrast, Azucar Bakery, a homosexual-run business in Denver, was exonerated by the Colorado Civil Rights Division for refusing to decorate a cake with biblical passages for William Jack, a Christian from Castle Rock who wanted those decorations to reflect the idea same-sex marriage was "un-biblical and inappropriate."

Why is there no effort to force muslims to conduct same sex marriages?

Whatever the freak it is, it is a STATES ISSUE and not a constitutionally-enumerated federal issue.

Muslims get hired to haul beer, refuse, and sue for damages and win.

Christians refuse to bake a cake for homos, and get crucified by the feds and homo lobby.

Anybody see what’s wrong with this picture?

What I see is that the Christians in this nation need to put the hammer down, and QUIT TURNING THE OTHER CHEEK!

STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN!

Christians built this nation, created the laws, and now we’re expected to toss all of that aside to appease the heathen minority and their enemy supporters?

When it comes down to survival, the rule book goes out the window.

Plus, isn’t alinsky dead? So who gives a shit what he thinks, because I sure don’t.

The crusades were the answer to the muslim invasion of europe.

The next fight will occur on American soil, and it will have to count.

FTA: "Last April, a video of Muslim bakers in Michigan refusing to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding went viral, garnering 2.2 million viewers in only three days. "
And not one word of protest from any LGBTQ/whatever rights group. There's a history of this. Back around 1992 Louis Fairykan spoke to an SRO crowd at the Chicago Civic Ctr. He had everyone on their feet cheering wildly, including Sharptongue, Jesse Jerkson, Coretta King, Hosea Williams and everyone who was someone in the civil rights movement when he called homosexuality a bigger threat to the sanctity of the Black family than drugs or racism. His second-in-command Khamleed Mohammed told a packed audience at Queens College "any Black man who wears a dress does not deserve to exist on this earth". It's either fear, or they see radical islamists as "fellow travellers" The intense LGBT hatred prevalent in islam is, no pun intended, Trumped by their common hatred of all things Judeo-Christian and Western. So the gays seek an unholy alliance of convenience, an alliance based on the flawed assumption that an enemy of my enemy is my friend. And we all know what happens when we ASS-U-ME.

Christians seem to have forgotten the wisdom that gave them the ability to do this.

"Whatever the freak it is, it is a STATES ISSUE and not a constitutionally-enumerated federal issue."

Unfortunately, since LBJ's great society it is now a fedgov matter with many USSC decisions to back it, not to mention signed Congressional legislation that reinforces such, however un-Constitutional. It has been contested through the years on the grounds of 9th and 10th Amendment States' Rights, but the States always lose because no State Supreme Court nor the US Supreme Court want to look like racists.

You couldn't be talking to a bigger supporter of States' Rights. I have posted many articles on this board and others in big bold underlined fonts. I used to be out in the streets with a bullhorn supporting States' Rights. I helped found Veterans for Constitutional Restoration (VetsCor). Look at the sidebar on this site. The only republican president contender who consistently espouses States' Rights is Ted Cruz.

Which reminds me: Trump is our new Perot. He is a smarmy, self-absorbed ego-centric TV personality that channeled Perot in his closing argument in the last debate. To paraphrase, "I'll fix it. I'll change things and I'll fix them. I'm the only candidate who knows how to fix things". Not the same words, but the same BS generic statement. Look at the transcript. He was pitiful.

Ack! Trump is a dim bulb who is playing on the anger of conservatives. I can't believe so many on this board and elsewhere think he is the savior for conservatism. Yeah, I know he has some policy statements out there and talks generic talk that conservatives want to hear. However, Trump is still a "cult of personality" media creature. He needs to go away and let the true Conservative, Ted Cruz, absorb his limelight.

My prediction, Trump will lose the nomination due to his big mouth and ego to either Ted Cruz, Ben Carson (another interloper who has NO gumption), or Mark Rubio (which I prefer not). I also see Cruz or Rubio or maybe Carson selecting Fiorina as the VP running mate.

Someone please explain to me why the second tier candidates still bother? Why does Graham, Santorum, Pataki, Gilmore even bother? Sorry, got off point.

Because muslims are irrational. Only Christianity created the Age of Reason and the most profound, abstract, rational philosophy/Theology in the history of man which created the concepts which led to the US Constitution.

Only Christianity is being eliminated in the Minds of children-—so they become as irrational and insane as muslims, hindus—or all the other mystical “blind” “faith” ideologies-—including Satanism and Atheism-—all irrational “faiths”.

The only “rational” faith which created Individuality v. socialism (group (non) think)-—Christianity is the only worldview which gives dignity and worth to ALL human beings no matter how weak or old.......Dignity in Man-—to be their OWN MASTER-——unalienable Natural Rights only from God-—we are our own masters.

It is why this irrational, satanic religion of sodomizing others is forced onto our children through “Just” (lol) Law——to destroy Reason and Logic and understanding of self and others (male and female become interchangeble).

Muslims are raised in homosexual cultures-—pederasty is “normal” in islam, so boys grow up totally irrational and evil-—worldview is habituated and learned. Children have to be fed lies to “believe’ in the irrational cultures-—buddhism/hinduism/satanism/atheism/naturalism0——etc. Truth sets you Free and socialists/satanists want only slaves and they desire the boys—your boys, most of all. (google Franklin Cover-up, Sugar Keynes of Harvard, Epstein, Jimmy Savile-—etc. etc. etc.....it is ALL a pattern since the pagan Spartans and Samurai).

Nope, states’ rights and state sovereignty is alive and well, although many don’t know it - YET.

When the Right abandons the Constitution as written and originally understood and intended, there will be effectively no difference between the Right and the Left - kinda the way it is now with a few exceptions.

The Constitution, the ONLY legal bulwark of freedom against federal tyranny absolutely limits federal power, and other than the power enumerated to the feds and enumerated restrictions on the states, does NOTHING to impinge states’ rights and state sovereignty.

Contrary to popular Leftist-influenced belief and conventional Leftist-influenced “wisdom”, the Civil War did nothing to change that and did nothing to change the Constitution. The only thing that changed the Constitution were the three post-war reconstruction amendments which applied strictly to ex slaves and NOTHING else.

First, the states themselves, individually, must determine to stand against unconstitutional federal acts which are acts of tyranny.

Second, although not as savvy about the Constitutional issues as Cruz, I think Trump is sincere and has correctly addressed some critical issues including national defense, our economy, cutting waste, spending and the Dept of Education, and cutting taxes.

Cruz continues to have trouble getting close to the lead and seems to not connect as well with the public which I think has to do with a certain political persona he seems to have or what some call an “ideologue” in the sense of sometimes appearing to lose sight of his point or his goal for his dogma.

I like Cruz but I’m not sure he could beat Hillary and he’s having a heck of a time beating his fellow candidates. I think Trump would chew Hillary up and I think Cruz would be a great VP for Trump, poised to enter the WH after a good-to-great Trump reign. That looks like a hopeful scenario to me. I see Trump as jump-starting our country and Cruz doing a lot to enhance and better that effort.

Wishful thinking. Pounding on the Constitution is a waste of time. The States refuse to assert their Constitutional powers and the people have no clue what they are. The Federal Government has assumed supremacy over all things they choose and the States do nothing to resist.

We can keep pretending that the Constitution protects us and if judges observed their constitutional oaths that would be true, but they don't.

Obama just announced he would ignore the 5th Circuit and proceed with his executive amnesty, in response Congress announced a long vacation with only 111 days scheduled on their calendar next session.

Likely I will be dead before the SHTF and I mourn for our county and our children, but I am way to old to do much more than shout at the TV.

Well, I intend to fight for freedom until God takes me to Heaven. I know our popular culture is mess and the Left has brainwashed the populace away from realizing the value and importance of freedom and the Constitution but I intend to be part of the move to bring a “rebirth of freedom” back to America.

You know what? I don’t even care if I don’t win, because freedom is worth living and dying for. Millions have in the past and I for one don’t want their sacrifice to be in vain - I want to join them in that fight.

I know I’m not the only one and I think many more will join in once they understand what’s at stake. I hope you join in also. What’s life worth if not a life of freedom? Fighting the good fight of faith and freedom is a worthwhile fight and a worthwhile life.
