“If Bush shows up, turn off the lights and act like nobody is home”

Better still, just lock him out!

“This sounds like it has the potential to be a big deal in future debates. The next scheduled event is in about 2 weeks on FBN.”

Bad news for FBN, Megyn Kelly responded to someone in her focus group that the candidates should select the moderators saying that “no way would the press allow it!” She’s really had her bra on too tight lately!

The RNC try to cut off party funding. If the RNC does that then would Trump/Carson/Cruz/Rubio/Christie be technically no longer running as Republicans?

Trump should have taken care of that detail when he signed that "no third party" pledge. (will you pledge your support for me if I win?) Hopefully his "smart guys" put that in a binding contract.

” The bigger question would be if they do this does

1. The RNC try to cut off party funding. If the RNC does that then would Trump/Carson/Cruz/Rubio/Christie be technically no longer running as Republicans?

2. Does the RNC lose control of the party?”

They would do that if they wanted to make sure that they go out of business right now! Personally, I’d like to see the top for candidates that have been mentioned opt out of any future MSM/RNC “cattle calls,” and stage their own very classy discussion of the issues. And for the future the government should, since they grant broadcast licenses to all of these miscreants, require that they all have to give a prescribed amount of completely free airtime to the candidates debates, but not be allowed to do anything but run the cameras and transmit the proceedings. This would also cut a major cost out of campaigning.

“No way the press will allow it”.
The candidates should come up with a unified plan and sell it to the highest bidder. Trump alone will continue to be a ratings bonanza. The Art of the Deal before our very eyes. Tis a thing to behold.

THIS IS GOOD. This gives me hope that who ever we get into office will be smart enough to call in there opponents to be cabinet members. could you imagine how good the administration could be if you took the expertise of all the candidates and had them work together. Each of the candidates have there weak points and there strong points. the one thing going on in the background is the democrat party laughing at us as we tear apart our own party over internal descent. who ever is president along with the cabinet has a lot to fix because of the damage that incompetent leadership has given us the last Eight years. the republican party has to heal its own wounds that we have inflicted on ourselves.

They do not need to present anything to the GOPe...they just need to do it and show them who the real leaders are!

When you have the internet you don’t need a network.

Netflix does streaming over the internet.

I think the Blaze, Drudge,Breibart, OAN, Newsmax could all arrange some sort of streaming. Conservative moderators instead of Liberal operatives for Hillary and Obama.

Sell advertising to cover the costs and pay for the Republican convention

Rubio is the strongest of the Establishment-approved candidates. <<

“Establishment-approved”.....is that a polite way of saying...Owned by the Washington Cartel?

Perfect! I can see it now....the TV screen is dark, Rush’s Pretenders intro music starts...Rush in the middle moderator’s seat with a stogie lit up as a spotlight hits him while he adjusts the Golden EIB michrophone!! The place goes NUTS! Then Hannity and Levin are spotlighted and more cheers from the audience! The FR live thread reaches 100,000 posts! (The FReepathon wraps up that night as donations flood in!) And TV ratings go thru the roof! Cruz and Trumper knock ‘em dead with their debate skills! All is good!

Typical media question (not true, of course)

“Mr. Trump, you say that you love women, but according to the National Enquirer, you beat up and nearly killed your wife in 1983. Would you please explain to the voters how you reconcile these two positions?”

Once handed a question like that, is there ANY WAY to not be damaged by it? Even pulling a Cruz and throwing it back at the reporter will only work a limited amount of times before you get accused of ducking the question.

Solution: Limit questions to no more than 6 words.

The problem with having Rush Hannity and Levin is that it would be a Kumbuya session because they really have very few differences. That is what make the Democratic debate so boring. When you have moderators that are going to ask questions like are you pro-life and they all say “yes” it becomes very boring.

Why do they even need moderators?. Look at Trumps roll in the apprentice. Each of the senators have spoken for set time on the senate floor The governors have surely held conference type of meetings.
Choose a topic. Allow each to speak and decide a fair way for others to question or discuss their presentation.

They should hold a series of round table discussions to focus on issues. Run them on youtube and make them available if the media wants to run them without being involved.

Cut the media out altogether.

Even the Republican candidates understand the RNC is one of the enemies.
